Ok so I think this belongs here cause it's about hair but if not tell me and I'll gladly move it.
One thing that I notice is that when ever someone mentions the idea of dying their hair black every one is like "Oh no! Don't do that it's too common!!" And it's really starting to bug me...
Can't people just dye their hair what ever colour they want? Besides, people dye their hair blonde all the time but no one complains to them about it.
Yes I know dyed black hair is considered "emo" and everyone is doing it, but who seriously cares? It's just hair

i agree, if no one dyed there hair whatever colour they wanted because someone on the internet said so they would do it anothert colour and everyone would dye it that colour, be it red or pink or blue, and no one would have black hair so everyone would moan about the red/pink/blue hair that people had . . .

Because the majority of people who want black hair are pale white people, and black hair looks absolutely horrid on pale white people.
Unless it's natural, in which case it's SUPPOSED to look natural. But the whole blonde/brunette dying the hair black thing looks unnatural and very trashy.
However, blonde looks good on many people- namely, the people that get their hair dyed that color being white or Asian tend to look good with lighter colors.

The colour i don't think is what ties them to the emo trend, it's more the style. ^.^
And typically, the style with the black hair is parted. Emo stereotype.
It's pathetic, BUT it's alive.
Kind of like the people who bash others for the hair dye... xD

my hairs naturallly black but if someone wants to dye their hair what evr colour they fancy well its their choice he/she shouldnt just change their mind cos someone told them too. free will.,.

Personally I think hair dyeing is for old ladys.
It ******** up your hair in the end, so if you want to dye, re-dye don't be shocked if in 15 years your hair starts falling out.

I'm pale. REALLY PALE. So pale that my mother is taking me to get bloodwork just to make sure I'm healthy. (I'm not healthy at all sweatdrop )
My hair is purple/black in the very front. (If you're wondering how it's purple/black, I died it brown then put purple over it.) Then I have a redish-orange colour between that colour and a really light blonde. I might post a picture sometime (If I can actually feel like I look good enough).

... That's kind-of what my grandmother said to me. xD
Except, her words were, "Do you wanna be 25 years old with no hair?!" and "Do you want cancer of the brain?!"
I'd have my hair completely black if it wasn't for my strict parents. (It took me 4 months to just convince them to let my do it like this)
All I have to say is do your hair how ever way you want it and don't give a ******** about what anyone else thinks.
So, yeah. This post was completely pointless. I just felt like saying something.
