Crystal turned at the voice, grinning suddenly as her stormy eyes lighted upon a familiar mask. "Sommer," she greeted the woman with earnest joy, offering a slight curtsey. "He's fine, I assure you," she laughed, a very musical sound. "I daresay he forgot all about it after I got in the way."
The woman gave an overly displayed roll of her eyes, still laughing. "I was so frightened, and he's off being his normal flirtatious self." Although her words were less than kind, there was a warmth in her voice that suggested she was used to it, or didn't really mind. "Are you all right? I'm so sorry you and May had to see that. He's so dramatic."

"You cleaned up rather quickly," Sena mused mischieviously, gliding up beside the woman in the black and white gown and the woman she was engaged in coversation with. "Usually one stays away for a while to leave a little something for the imagination."
Sena plucked a new drink as a servant passed by with champange. The golden bubbles seemed to dance with the ripples of dancers swirling on the floor. The silver mask could not conceal the gleam in her golden eyes as a wicked smile curled her lips. "Such a shame really, you make quite the dashing pair..."

We`rika pressed on into the mansion, trying his best not to stand gawk like a simpleton. Well ho’ damn. He hadn’t been into many homes bigger than his two room apartment and it almost made him dizzy as his eyes rose to the ceiling. Lost in his own world, wondering how much crack he’d have to sell to get a mansion like this of his own, the Huichol almost bumped into a couple passing him. He simply took a silent step back and let them pass, watching their retreat to the dance floor. Jesus, they glided! Looking down at his feet, he tapped one heel against the clean floor with a clumsy clunk clunk.
Whatever, he wasn’t here to impress, he came for the free booze. Which waaas… there! He saw a few gathered around a table drinking… what was it again? punch? He had only had punch once before and… it didn’t really give him a thrill, but he supposed that’s what the peach schnapps would be for. He ladled himself a generous amount of the punch, careful not to interrupt any other masqueraders, before adding a little treat to it. It turned out to be almost unbearably sweet, but his mouth would go numb of the taste soon enough. Taking up his glass, he moved away from the mobs and gaggles of men and women and found an open spot to watch others, forcing himself to be inviting and less defensive in his posture.

The woman smiled, relieved to hear that. She really had been worried and causing a fight between friend, a couple, or anyone didn’t sit well with her. “I’m glad for that. And do not worry, I have seen more than my fair share of fighting and this was barely a scene.”
She looked up at the arrival of the other woman, noticing the familiar tone she had. So her and Crystal knew each other. Sommer just hoped that she wasn’t bothering the two.

Skie looked up, smiling as another approached her and blinked as the garnet was proffered. Brow drawing down into a look of confusion, she wondered why somebody would simply hand out jewels to another person. Tempted as she was, she simply waved the hand away, "Thank-you but no..." She chuckled, "I'm cheerful, believe me, and your company would be much appreciated."
Gesturing at the gem, she posed a question, "May ask, though, why you happen to be giving out gems? It could someone in trouble, you know." She flashed a smile, meaning it as a joke. "Aren't you afraid somebody might take a not so innocent interest?"

Crystal opened her mouth to reply, but was cut off by the sultry voice of another. She turned to face the newcomer, prepared to defend Irene and herself when her dark eyes found the lightest being she'd ever seen. Her shocked gaze took in the sunkissed hair and perfect skin, the gown of breathing fabric that hugged the woman's shapely body, knowing without a doubt she was in the presence of someone very...very powerful. This one she'd be very mindful of. She fell into a deep curtsey, inclining her head deeply to the vision.
"I'm afraid it's nothing more exciting than a brawl and wine stain, my Lady," she said in her calm, melodious voice. "I appreciate the compliment, although it may hurt my date's chances at courting another." She stood up again, curving her lips into an appreciative smile.

When Crystal curtsied to the stranger Sommer followed suit, suddenly very aware of the social differences between her and them. She had manners for sure, but she wasn’t well bred. So she remained quiet for now, favoring to listen to them instead of offering conversation herself.
