*before the shards could hit his he swung his blade accross and made a wave of energy to deflect the shards away from him. after that he pointed his hand at her and threw a ball of energy so large and fast that she couldn't avoid*
*the light started to fade and smash stood there holding two keyblades in his hands. all his scars healed and he looked at his arms. all the scars healed and he got feeling back in them. light still shined off him, making him look like an angel only without wings. he smiled as he walked towards mari*
hey now. that's a new look. i got a new one too.

She crouched down and pointed the sword forward infront of her, held up the sheild, and folded her wings backwards. The sword sliced through the energy mass he sent at her and the shield kept her safe from any backlashes. She stood back up and heard Smash speak. She looked over at him and was surprised. She noticed that his scars were gone and smiled. "No time to talk now." She didn't mean to sound rude, but they needed to end this. Without hesitation, she ran at him and the sword and shield she was holding started to glow. She used the shield to colide with him and push him back, then using the sword to stab at his stomach.

*he teleported behind kano and held him so that mari's sword could impale him*
*without being able to maove the sword went through him. he roared with rage and glared at them*

*he grinned and held his one keyblade at his neck*

*he looked over at mari with a smile*
but i don't want to finish this on my own. let's end this together mari.

She smiled and nodded. She sheathed her sword and two javalins made of ice formed in her hands, but inside the ice was a high concentrated amount of light energy. Without hesitating, she impaled both of them into his chest and then twisted both of her hands causing the ice to break and shatter inside his body.

*without hesitation he rose both keyblade in the air and brought them down and a cross mation, cutting off his head. the body dropped and then faded into nothing. and that was the end of kano*

Mari stood up straight and reached up to her neck where the piece of her shirt was tied around it. She untied it and reached for the crystal. As she pulled it out, it was like she was also pulling out the power she gained. She let out a gasp and was wincing, but as soon as it was out of her skin, she was back to her normal demon form and the blood covered crystal was its light blue again. The sword and shield also disappeared. She just stretched a bit and put her hand up to her neck so she could heal the wound.

whoo hoo! we did it!
*odin flew down from the sky and tackled smash to get ground. he was laughing and licking his face*
you did it! you beat him!
*he started laughing and petting his side*

She watched Smash and Odin and just smiled. She crossed her arms and just let out a laugh at their antics. Going back to her human form, she couldn't help but still feel a tiny bit upset because all during the fight she didn't get the upperhand. Not even once. She didn't let it get to her or show, though. She was just happy that he was gone.

*he got up off the ground and walked over to mari. her gave her a big hug and buried his face in her shoulder*
so this is what a hug really feels like.

She returned his hug and smiled. She kissed his neck and kept holding onto him. "Yea. Was it all you expected?"
