[.Hera Again.] "Remeber the shy mare I told you about before, Hera? Well fortune favored another meeting with her. At first it seemed as if something had been bothering her, but apparently it was nothing, or she wasn't telling me. Either way the point was moot.
Like before she was somewhat shy with me, but I'm pleased to say it was a little more eventful this time around. We spoke some about the herd and some little rumors floating about, and I inquired about her opinion on several matters that were a big deal to me. Apparently she dislikes Yi coming into power as much as I do, so that's one opinion we had in common with one another.
At the end, I told her I'd like to see her again to better get to know her. I don't want to involve her in my plan to ascend back into power unless I know her opinion is genuine. I've taken my time coming up with it thus far, so I won't screw it up by involving an untrustworthy mare."

[.Playtoys.] "The night promised to be interesting when I first looked upon the moonless sky, and boy did it deliver. I never thought a commoner, well for the most part anyway, would be so much fun to mess with. She could have bitten me and I would have laughed in her face for it. She could have kicked me and I would smirked and told her to try again; just see how far she would get trying it a second time. Her name is Zara, daughter of the tactician Undine and -ugh- my mom's adviser Xla.
Luckily she had some wit about her, enough not to come slinking over mumbling 'hallah' and 'my pardon' all the way. Gods that sort of behavior annoys me. I want to be respected, but I don't want to be grovelled to like, well like Yi is. Its utterly unpractical, and nothing ever gets done because they're too spineless to actually help solve the problem.
Anyway, back to the snake Zara. She had the gull to jest with me, although I'm sure her intent was to hurt. That in it self is amusing, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the banter we spat back at one another.
However the night was not over and she fed me some bullshit about a 'lover's leap', which is completely ridiculous. I'm a little irked that I sheared my hooves on the way down a cliffside, but I've been through worse thanks to some of the more bloody fights with the soldiers. I'll say this for Zara- she turns me on. Backbone, spite, wit, and I'm sure she utterly hates my guts.
The night had certainly been enjoyable."
