Mami blushed even harder at him calling her a little Posey and she giggled, cuddling up to him. She was about to speak again when she heard her name being called by an all to familair voice, which was way to close for her to be happy with. She groaned and rolled her eyes, but stayed where she was as she turned her head and saw her brother push through the brush.
Balen called Mami's name again but stopped when he spotted her. He wondered what she was doing by the river, but he would ask her later, "There you are Mami, I've been looking-" he stopped abruptly when he saw a male cuddled much much to close to his baby sister.

Sondraes kissed her temple lightly and was going to say something more to her when all of a sudden he heard a voice calling out Mami's name and his fur nearly stood on end. Another one? "Uh... f-friend... of ours Mami?" He stuttered from fear as he saw the expression on the face of the large green and multi-colored male.

Balen arched an eyebrow as he stood there, looking between the two. Silently, he was thrilled his baby sister had FINALLY found someone, but he wasn't about the pass this oppertunity up. "And what exactly are you up to with his gentlemand, LITTLE sister?" he said with a smirk.
Mami stood up and stomped her way over to him, "Balen, quit calling me little, I'm an adult!! And did dad send you out here looking for me?!" and soon the two started in on their age old arguement of sibling arguing.

Both of Draes' ears dropped to the sides of his head and he felt himself get close to the ground. Never in his life had he seen fighting like this, he'd grown up with the whispers of flowers and to hear yelling from someone as beautiful as Mami made him feel like crying. Maybe he was oversensitive?
"Do... you r-really need to fight?" He called out in a soft voice.

Mami stopped her yelling and gasped when she saw how upset her love was. She whapped Balens head, "Look what you did, you made him upset!!" she scolded her brother. She then went up to him and laid down beside him, nuzzling him and kissing his cheek in reassurance, "I'm sorry Dreas, I didn't mean to upset you like that." she whispered into his ear, hoping to calm him down.
Balen winced when he was hit, but he did feel bad. He didn't think his fighting with Mami would make the male this upset. He approached the two, laying down in front of them, "Sorry about that, I was just teasing her really." he said softly.

Flicking his ear up a little bit, but still stuffed back into the shell of fear he'd built up, Draes nuzzled her softly back and shrunk a little further to the ground, his tails tucked beneath him. Why was he such a coward?
"It'll happen."
"Whispers aren't the only thing you'll ever hear."
"You must be used to them. Or you'll be forced into it."
Opening his glowing red eyes once more, Draes smiled weakly at Balen and nodded his head shakily. "S-sorry. I just... grew up with nothing but the whispers of f-flowers. I've never really been around... many other Kitsu... is all." He blushed and buried his muzzle in Mami's fur embarrasedly.

Balen frowned lightly, he had never heard of a Kitsu never having lived with anyone of their own kind, "Well, why don't you come live with us for a little while? My family would welcome you and you could get used to being around others!" he said, hoping that would appease his pissed off sister.
Mami smiled and nodded, nuzzling him again, "Yes, and there are lots of flowers around my humans home! Please Dreas?" she asked softly.

"Stay with... others?" The thought had it's merits but... would he be able to? Would he be able to get used to waking up and finding a handful of others always around him constantly? It had never happened to him before.
"Well.... I-I could give it a try as long as there are lots of flowers?" Draes blushed slightly and wagged his tails weakly.

Mami nodded as she nuzzled his cheek with her nose, "We can sleep in a field close by the house that is full of flowers! You and me!" she said softly and she quickly shot her brother a look that clearly said 'Shut the Hell up NOW!!' when it looked like he might say something, and she smiled when he shut his muzzle and just nodded.

The thought was sounding better and better now actually. He'd never really been this close to someone before... Mami was special in ways he coudln't even begin to describe. "As long as it's with you... and we can sleep with the flowers... I'd love to."

She smiled and nodded and then turned back to her brother, "Balen, go back home and let everyone know we will be having a guest staying with us for a while. I am going to stay here with Dreas for while longer."
Balen sighed, nodding as he stood up. He knew better then to argue with his sister when she was like this, plus he didn't want to see the two get all mushy. Besides, it would probably make the transistion easier on the guy if he told his dad now instead of having him find out later. He nodded to the two and headed off.
Mami let out a breath, glad her brother wouldn't cause problems about Dreas coming to stay with them. She then went back to nuzzling and cuddling with her new found mate, smiling.
