Well, they're no more rare than any other rare, pack wise. But they're pretty in demand, so their prices trend upwards on the secondary market. Hopefully once TDP releases the mage attention will be turned to cards like Spellsteal and Frost Nova will become a bit more reasonable.

Yeah, Scorch is all kinds of new hotness. Don't forget about Blistering Fire though, 3 damage for 1 mana.

Those two, along with Fireball and Fire Blast and maybe Eye of Flame are going to make the World in Flames a really attractive win condition.

I'm actually working on those 3 classes. Savin Lightguard with SoC and Stolen Stash is my pick for Paladin, Kayleitha because of Cannibalize, Premed, and Master of Deception for Rogue. Mage however is giving me fits.

I love Cold Snap, but I doubt the viability of the other Frost cards enough that I don't want to build a deck around them, so out go Litori and Blackvein. Pyroblast is an over-costed pile, so Ta'zo is a no go. Gemsparkle and Bitterstar are the remaining choices, and I haven't narrowed it down yet (though my apparent inability to trade for a damn Bitterstar may answer the question for me).
