Not nessicarrily for those who worship the Kemetic Gods and Goddesses, but there's always been an interest in Them by many outside of the immediate religions that worship Them (Kemetics and some sects of Wiccans), Aset, Wesir, Ra and Yinepu being among the most popular. As you may notice, some of the choices are combined, for one to be able to fit more in there, and two, Those on the same space are usually aspects of each other (ie Sekhmet is an aspect of both Hethert and Mut)

So Who is your favorite? biggrin

If your fave isn't listed here, just talk about Him/Her in your post...I only have 10 slots to work with in these polls razz

Ma'at!

I have a statue of her sitting on my altar. As a goddess of truth, and considering her role in death, I call on her as a goddess of initiation. She and I are working together as I prepare for my initiation into the Golden Dawn, a Hermetic society.

I also have a fondness for Thoth. While not a part of Egyptian mythology, the first Hermetist was an Egyptian from the city of Alexandria named Hermes Trismegistus, and according to the legends, he was both Hermes and Thoth combined, living in human form to teach the arts of alchemy, astrology and theurgy.

Two of my best friends are Kemetic and they worship Bast and Anpu, respectively. So I do have a fondness for those two as well, and they each have a place on my altar. 3nodding

Bastet, she is my favorite. Her beauty never ceases to cow me and her mystery is a reason to learn more about her. I love that she is manifest in every cat on earth as well. They are such intelligent and lovely things... I really love them... *giggle* Bastet is beautiful. I am not as familiar with the others, but my fiancee has been chosen by Seth, so I am getting to know him through the chaos in my daily life.

Horus and Isis are Greek names. Their true Egyptian names are Heru and Aset. I dislike using the Greek versions of Their names considering Greece helped conquer Egypt and desecrated most of Their temples.

My favorite is actually Ma'at. She seemed to be the one I automatically connected to. I don't know if it's because she's so important, one of the creators or if it is another reason unknown to me.

Of the ones you listed, Ma'at has always intrigued me. So did Thoth from the begining. I also like some of the more 'primordial' deities such as Nut and Geb. I don't follow any particular pantheon, but I think that there is such wealth to be gained from looking at just about any system!
