What do you think is the biggest selling point for buying Crisis Core for you?
It's Final Fantasy. What else needs to be said?
The battle system looks interesting; a bit of a departure from the usual turn-based system
So many bishies in one game...
I think it's cool to learn more about the story of the world and how things got to where they are
It's been getting good publicity, so it should be a pretty decent game
The graphics and sound are amazingly good for a handheld

I don't want Steve Burton as Cloud either. He's too inexperienced. Though in the first KH he sounded cool. (Don't know what happened in KH2 though...he sounded different....ish.) But I want Zack's voice to be the same as it was in AC. biggrin It's perfect for him!!! So awesome! (He's also the voice of Gippal in FFX-2)

Voice acting ugh. That's gonna make or break this game. I hated the voice acting from AC so as long as they don't go that way again i think i'll be happy.

America release, as far as I heard is the 25th of this month. I downloaded all the FMVs (subed, of course) for CC so I know what is going on. I will post the link to where I found them if anyone wants them.

I don't know if this is a spoiler, so I will put it in white. If it's not, will someone say something. This is my favorite thing about CC.

Sephiroth is normal and has a sence of humor. Chapter 9 is the Neibilheim fire and it goes into waaay more detail about how he went nutz. I feel sorry for him now, he was just a normal guy, cept for the fact that he can kick anyone's butt, usually with his eyes closed. But I mean, he was normal!!

Crisis Core is finally released!! I might get it this weekend. biggrin

From Wikipedia, the reviews are as follows:

Famitsu gave Crisis Core a 35/40 which is an incredibly good score considering the fact that Famitsu is a very popular and critical magazine.

X-Play: Sorry fans....but X-Play, if you watch it, have always been severe critics. They gave it a 2/5, the same score as Dirge of Cerberus which is really depressing. Apparently they just didn't like the game, namely the cutscenes, the plot, and the gameplay. (Isn't that everything in the game?!) Quite personally, I think X-Play rates games way too harsh for anyone's taste. But X-Play gives unbiased reviews so they are reliable.

Gamespot likes it. From what I've played it's really fun. It's hard to find a spot to break at because there's always something going on.

Xplay is a joke.

Gamespots review was spot on, I agree with everything it said. I bought the game today and haven't put it down since, the combat is very addicting, and the storyline is very good, so far. It also has very beautiful graphics and a subperb soundtrack.

I don't really listen to X play. I mean I love watching the show but I kinda make my own opinion on the game without listening to their ratings.
Personally I think they can be very biased. If they like a game series they'll normally rate it high. But from what I've heard they don't like FFVII. They've called it "Emo before emo" and that all it gave them was "a lot of slash fan fictions between Sephiroth and Cloud." Don't get me wrong, they may like it but they don't seem to...
But I've been playing Crisis Core none stop since the 25th and I love it. The missions are kinda repetitive but the main story makes up for it. Love it!

chances are if youre stuck i can help

according to me
pros:
graphics (cute guys!)
finishes the storyline more
battle system (not a fan on turn-based combat)
voice acting (for the most part is pretty good)
side missions ( easy/good/possibly fun way to obtain items and lvl up)

cons:
short (but then again its a spin-off)
play through (just keep moving forwards no matter what)
battle system (too fast paced)
DMW (can only lvl up when reads 777)
