((This is a private roleplay between Ana Cruz and Khahlela Umfula. Do not post without permission of Silent Spy or Saint Sergio.))

Ana MarĂa Cruz sat cross-legged in a comfortable bar stool at the Walk of Fame Talent Agency's Bar & Lounge. She twiddled her ankle, with her high-heeled shoe dangling off the tip of her feet. With one hand she caressed her favorite drink, a sour apple martini, while she tapped on the dark wooden bar with the dark-red polished nails of her other hand. Her entire posture was rather elegant and proper, despite her feeling of boredom.

It had been several weeks since she had joined the Walk of Fame Talent Agencies and was yet to have had one photo shoot or any encounters with someone in the least bit interesting. Sure, she had seen several high-ranked celebrities walking around, but none that she has confronted. First she would need to identify herself with, something to brag about.

With a sigh, Ana lifted her glass to her perfectly shapped lips, tilting the glass slightly to get a tiny sip, casually changing into draining down the drink in a mighty chug. Placing down the glass, Ana swirled the seat of the stool, so she was now leaning back against the bar. She looked around the room. Surely someone in this place must be remotely interesting.

Khahlela sighed as she entered the bar and lounge, her dark face one of complete interest. In the past weeks she's been with the Agency, Lela had never been here before. She spotted someone who didn't have groupies following her and arched a brow.

Now, she'd seen many people with cameras following them, but this smallish girl wasn't. How odd. Curiosity got the better of her and Lela moved to sit beside the elegant other.

As she settled, her bracelets jangled and her jeans whispered against the fabric on the stool. She wasn't to fond of blue jeans, but they were growing on her. Then, she pulled her legs up so she could sit Indian style on the barstool, her bare toes curling and uncurling against the cold temperatures in the building from the air conditioning. That was also funny to her. She loved the heat, but wallowed in the cool air.

Licking her painted lips, Lela turned to the other girl and offered a small smile. "Hello," was all she managed to say, and that word was laced with friendliness as well as a very thick African accent.

Ana looked at the woman at the seat next to her, but gave no immediate reply. Rather, she smiled slightly, then diverted her attention to else where in the room. After a moment's pause, she spoke.

"The name is Ana Cruz," she said warmly, though not caring to start with a simple 'hello'. "And you are?"

Ana placed on elbow up onto the bar, then rested her head on the palm of her hand to appear more relaxed. She looked for a drink, but then realized that the bartender had taken it to fill it up again. She wasn't quite sure what to do, her father had always taught her that it is vital to always appear to be doing something, even in private conversations as it provides for the essence of importance.

Impatiently, Ana continued to play with her shoe dangling off the tips of her toes while she waited for the bartender to return the drink.

Lela smiled when her greeting was returned and she nodded a bit. This other girl was very warm in her manner and friendly. But she fidgeted an awful lot. She knew what Ana was doing, though. Her trainer said the same thing. Lela, of course, never listened. "You.... do not have to be busy," she stated softly. "Around me, not." English was not easy.

Playing with the bracelets on her arm, she began to fidget too, since she couldn't think of what else to do. "Good. I am fine." Her fingers moved to run over the column of gold rings around her neck, her fingers tracing the gleaming metal carefully, thought fully with her multi-colored finger nails.

Lela waited for the tender to return, so she could order a bottled water. That's the only thing she'd tried so far that didn't make her stomach upset.

"I meant your name," corrected Ana with a smile. She could tell the girl had some difficulties with the English language, but Ana was rather understanding. It wasn't the first time she had to deal with someone who was new to the language. "Where are you from? You have a very beautiful accent."

Ana thought the woman was rather beautiful, wearing some form of dazzling golden jewelery. She shifted how she sat in the seat, trying to find a more relaxed and comfortable posture. The woman did have a point, there was no reason for her to act busy, no photographers were around.
