Welcome, one and all, young and old, to the Knights of Cliche! Our story takes place, you guessed it, once upon a time in a land far, far away, the Kingdom of Cleeshay. This is a land where life is not only cliche, but cliches are life. Here the plot is nonexistent, or, at the very least, thinly veiled and highly predictable.
Seriously, though, this thread is purely for laughs. Use all the cliches you can ever think of and throw them all together. Take your favorite cliche character and toss him in with the others in the most cliche setting you can think of and put them in the most cliche situations. I guarantee the results will be hilarious. Besides, it won't matter if anyone can't get on for a while; it's completely cliche for the heroes to go off on an adventure and leave others in the dust for months at a time, and just as cliche for them to randomly poof back into the story for no satisfactory reason.
And with a Monty Python-esque narrator, provided by me, this should be even better!

What cliche?: (You can mix any cliches you want together, just give the basic idea)
Physical Description: SName: Oracle of Delphi Character Name: Sir Brannon Raleigh Cliche: Astride his noble white steed Samson, this addlebrained knight in shining armor is on a mission to rescue his beloved damsel in distress, Princess Juliana, whether she wants him to or not. Physical Description: Blonde, blue eyes, shining armor (duh), 6"3', rides a large white stallion named Samson, always has a stupid, confident smile and air, loves to ramble on about Juliana. Screenname: FallenSnow Character name: Sir Halfa Battle What cliche?: Random birds whisper bits of information to him that he dosen't really need to know. ("a little bird told me..." in case your confused) Physical Description: Looks like death warmed over. Black hair, dull eyes and pale skin. He wears no armour, only a black tunic and a pair of faded black breeches. He stands about 5'10". Screen Name: greenrider_calidar Character Name: Sir Hooduh Nit What cliche?: As a royal knight of the kingdom of Cleeshay, Sir Hooduh Nit is always going off to battle whether there is a bad guy or not. In the case of there being no evil villain to battle, he will then proceed to roam the country in a quest to find evil. He also has a high-pitched, girly, whiny voice which is rather annoying. Physical Description: A tall, golden-haired, fair-skinned man with blue eyes, no freckles to speak of, and womanish lips. He wears silver armor that is always polished, a silver sword, a silver helm, silver gauntlets, silver boots, a silver shield, and has silver tack (bridle, saddle, reins, stirrups) for his silver horse, Silver. (By the way, he like his silver.)

Rules: Obey all the rules of COST. (That means no mechs or gunmen, much as they are cliche!) Don't take things too seriously. This is meant to be silly and weird. What the narrator says, goes. If the narrator (who will talk in red) says: "And then, for no discernible reason, there was a random ninja attack," then there is now a random ninja attack. Don't ignore it. You'll ruin the craziness. As always, try to post at least a paragraph to give others something to work off of.

Character name: The Old b*****d Sage AKA Grand Master Tobs
What cliche?: The wise, old, picky, stern mage. He finds pleasure in whipping the youngsters into shape, and he finds even more pleasure in knocking them off their high horses (both literally and metaphorically speaking).
Physical Description: A hunched backside due to old age. His grizzled gray beard reaches the bottom of his sternum. His robes and wide-brimmed wizarding hat are gray. His staff is as much an antique as Grand Master Tobs himself, made of gnarled oak. Often seen with a pipe hanging from his mouth.

Hey, can we just start? I mean, it would be sort of fun to have characters randomly coming in out of the blue, right? So that would be another cliche. (Plus I'm sort of bored right now.)
