(This thread is the passage from either Jyrounin's port or Ekorio to the other; a small pathway leads from the forest into the remnants of the village of Ailerion, for those unfortunate enough to be led there..)
[This dark forest looms over the gentle landscape at the foot of the Ekorio mountains. It is so dense that sunlight scarcely touches the ground, and in this everlasting darkness, the creatures of the forest have grown into fierce predators. Death is said to await all who linger here.]

Saxerei Kitase stood on a raised area, overlooking the bountiful, yet dreary, woods that lay outstretched before him. Shadows were painted against the dark forest, dancing about as the ferocious monstrosities that inhabited the area slinked about, hunting him. A soft voice from behind him stole his attention from his observations.
"Crimson red hair and eyes... a fiery spirit and blade to match... dark clothes, and a body filled with vigour and determination.. you must be Saxerei..." The voice of the old woman who stood behind him uttered. Saxerei's lips twisted in a very slight frown.
"Who are you, old woman? You shouldn't be out here, the creatures will eat you alive." Saxerei commented, and moved next to her to usher her forth.
"Touch me not, boy!" she cried, slapping at him wildly with her cane. Her long robe flapped about just as wildly, causing Saxerei to step away.
"Are you crazy, Old Cod?" He asked agitatedly.
"No such thing in me, child. Listen, carefully." She said, calming herself as he distanced himself. "You will journey forth, boy. Far, your travels will take you, and perilous, your quest shall be. Listen well, heed these words, child, and ye shall surely be as a worldly hero." Her words made him smile instantly; his entire life's dream had been to be a hero, as his father before him. "Listen, listen child. You are to travel, until you are as one with the True Way. Only when you become competent in such a Way, shall you find that which you seek; your glory. Be wary, son of the mighty Slayer, for your goal is not that which you truly seek.."
Saxerei's eyebrows furrowed. He was in distaste with her wordings, and her failed attempts at being prophetic.
"Miss, I'm glad you're trying to help me, but-"
"Silence! Heed me words! Go out now, and find the other two blades to accompany yours. Or else, all is lost....."
"What the hell are you talking about?" He asked. She laughed loudly, her voice echoing amongst the trees, and her frail body began to dissipate.
"H-hey, wait a sec!" Saxerei called, stepping forward. It was no use. She was gone. Saxerei quickly hurried out of the forest, shaking his head at her words. Could she be trusted? Was she a crackpot? Was he insane and hallucinating?
He then damned God.
