Ivan's eyes regained focus as she spoke. "Well I guess I could, I could learn song and the ocarina at the same time, It would mearly mean my time would be more filled with practice than my own wishes." he shruged and truned his full attension to Thomas' face. His eyes seeming to swirl a bit the longer she looked the more they would seem to turn into the night sky even stars would be able to be seen deep within thier depths.
"Well I belive the insterment is not childish however my reason why I will take it up may be." His face was was not smling sence his eyes had regained thier focus, but now the corner of his blue nearly feminine lips curved up alittle causing his apperance to take on a look that made him see as dangerous as he was charming.
"So you wish to take up woodwinds because they are like the one you adore's voice?" He use the word she tried to hide perposely and watched her his fingers laced and his head rested on the top of his hands as he asked. His eyes were locked on Thomas' and it was clear she had his full attension.
"I wonder, Thomas, if you enjoy dancing?"

Thomas said nothing as he mentioned perhaps learning two different things at once, singing and playing an ocarina. It wasn't like he could do both at the same time either, like the stringed instruments. Thomas wasn't one much for talking, and didn't trust herself to sing, so a woodwind was perfect for occupying her mouth. She continued to watch his eyes, though he seemed to turn into more predatory. Funny, and Pundus were supposed to be vegitatians.
She blew out another snort at his last comment. Ivan was so charmingly obnoxious. "Not someONE's voice, voices in general." She pointed out to him rather sharply, "They have a voice to me, as opposed to just a sound. That, and I don't trust these..." She held up a paw, revealing long, well kept after but battleworn claws, "...to a stringed instrument."
What came next from Ivan's mouth had Thomas' eyes wide. It was a question that was rather out of the blue. "Never tried. Don't particularly want to." She said. Dancing wasn't like martial arts-- it didn't have a purpose to her.

Ivan nods and slowly stangds and walks over towards the rack of insterments his movements smooth and graceful. "I see." He said inreposonce to her voices coment. He truned to look at her battleworn claws. He did not see why they could not be used to play strings. With practice and time one could learn anything they set thier mind do. "Well then you have a valid reason to learn what you wish."
He shruged, truned, and knelt down looking at a rather dark and somewhat large ocarina. "It is a pitty that dancing has no interest to you...I was looking for a partner to study it with me....alas I fear I will have to dance with my brother if I can ever talk him into coming out of hiding." His voice sound rather dull now.
If Ivan could read Thomas' mind he would have corrected her on the dancing and martial arts purposes. There were quite a few martial arts that focused around dance elements and visa versa. "He truned back to her the dark insterment in his hands and walked back to the desk and sat down. His eyes moving back to her face.

"You have a brother?" Thomas queried, interest piqued yet again. She imagined briefly what Ivan's brother would look like. According to the dark haired pundu he was shy. "Sounds cute." She ventured at legnth, more to the thought of the two of them dancing then the mental picture of his brother. Ivan didn't sound too into it, in fact, he sounded much more distant than before, as if his own interest in her had abated. She didn't care, really, no one was ever interested in her for long, no one except that damned watcher.
"I heard that." A sharp voice snapped. Thomas jumped and glared to Dian's location. He sat on the top of a nearby desk, legs crossed and looking both very femme and very peeved at the same time. "Yeah, you forgot I was here, didn't you?"
Not wanting to sound completely crazy in front of the new Pundu, she turned and began to actively ignore her watcher. Even if Ivan had corrected, her, Thomas would reassert dancing had no purpose to her, let alone close contact with another that was not engaged in sparring or intent to wound the other made her very *very* awkward and nervous, so she played off disinterest. However, her brown eyes kept roaming to his wings.
"So, you only interested in music and dance, or is there more, Mr. Multitalented?"

Ivan smirked, "Mr. Multitalented? Well I am not sure...I have a natural ablility to defend myself, maybe i will work on learning an offence."
He shruged. "Yes I have a brother, lets just say that he is rather feminie and shy, and gentle...nearly a polar oposite of me." He moved his claws over the five of the six holes. He sighed and flashed her a charming look.
His eyes moved over her body again, "I see you like to fight. And is there a reason I continue to see your eyes moving to my wings? They are nothing specail...you my touch them if that is your wish..."

Thomas blinked at Ivan. He seemed indifferent to his brother. "He's a little femme, you say...?" She let that hang on the air as she leaned back, folding her arms and lightly poking at one of the spikes protruding there. "I don't know if you're complete opposites."
She grinned at the very subtle poking at him. Really, Thomas didn't care who was femme, as long as it wasn't her. She couldn't bring herself to be a sensual person, it just didn't work. Not intentionally, anyway. She continued to scratch at the spike on her arm as Ivan continued to speak, his voice causing her eyes to lift toward him again.
"I actually don't really prefer fighting. I'd rather not bust someone's maw, but some people just ask for it." Thomas' gaze darkened. Demonic pundus really didn't have a choice, you had to use your weight to get around. No one listened to you if you couldn't prove you were strong enough to be worth listening to. It sucked, but it was all Thomas knew. Plus, she lacked the eloquence to be a diplomat.
"Yer wings are special. I always thought birds 'n bugs were the only things with wings. Can you fly, too?" She asked, not wanting to get out of her chair and walk to him to touch his wings. She'd reach out if he came up to her again.

Tired, sleepy, not feeling well.... Valenius knew he should be at school and that was why he was dragging his sickly body in the direction of the building that he knew his twin was hanging out in. Dark circles were around the pale boy's eyes and his feet were dragging.
~cough cough~
His chest hurt and he should have been turning around, but he had missed too much school as is, and he was worried that if he kept it up, he would fall behind. Already he was near to being held back.
Leaning his full weight on the door to his class, he willed the door to open slowly, and not to deposite him on the floor in a messy heap.
Apparently such willing didn't suffice, and he was soon sprawled in an untidy heap.

Ivan shruged, "I have never tried to fly with them no..." he leaned and was about to streach a wing for her to touch if she wished to when he heard a thud and saw his brother fall in a heap on the floor.
Sighing Ivan stood his wing just sliping by Thomas' claws and hand but far enough away from being thouched. "And there is my brother now...clumsy as always..." he said and walked over kneeling down looking at his brother, "Val you are a bit late and I thought you were sick."
Slowly he tried to roll his brother's onto his back and felt his twin's head with a soft sensual touch. "Oh Val you are burning up...you should not be here..." his voice was calm but with a hint of concern. He truned to Thomas, "Thomas can you please help me get him to the nurse?"

So close, and yet, no contact. The whispy feathers brushed by her hands, not even grazing the tips of her claws. She felt the movement of air behind them though, cool and soft. Briefly she wondered if the wings themselves would feel the same, or if they would resemble fur, or something else entirely. A paw tightened in the air as the wing passed untouched. The sound of a body hitting the floor had the pundu turning in curiosity.
Apparently, the blonde one with cerulean markings was the one Ivan had told her about, the shy twin brother. From the looks of things, he wasn't faring too well. Thomas knew about illness, they spread like plagues in the restricted air of the caves. Striding up to the ill pundu, Thomas cocked her head at him. "Is he still contagious?" She asked Ivan, but shook her head. At mention of helping him to the nurse, the brown pundu knelt beside him, sliding her arms beneath his body, under his wings. She couldn't tell the texture against her fur, but lifted Valenius bridal style easily. She rolled him in toward her, allowing his head to rest against her chest. Thomas shifted him almost effortlessly, angelic pundu were lightweights.
"Do you know where the nurse is? Lead the way. I've got him." For a moment, she wondered why she offered to carry a sick pundu, it was almost as though she were asking for what he had. But, even as ferocious as demonics were, they still looked out for one another. It would do no one any good for him to perish.

Ivan blink still kneeling on the ground, "I did not mean for you to carry him Thomas...just pu one of his arms around your shoudler..." He stood slowly, "I dont think he is...I have not caught it at least..."
Ivan tilted his head trying to remember where it was he saw the nurse's office. "If you must carry him then I guess i can not convince you not too...I believe the nurse is this way. When you are better Val you will need to thank Thomas for carrying you." He said and walked out into the hallway again.

Valenius was used to being semi carried, seeing as he wasn't all that good with certain movements. Then again he did know a few things. After all he had been learning dance in phys-ed. That wasn't the case now though. He could tell the body he was resting against wasn't that of Ivan. He knew his brother anywhere.
Stiffening a moment Val made as if to pull away, but a wracking series of coughs took that energy from him, causing him to fall a bit limp against the demonic female.
It seemed that was all it took to sap Val's will power for a time, leaving him dazed and confused. He had a test today. He couldn't miss it. "Ivan... I don't want to fail..." His voice was light and airy, like a breathless gasp, but then again, most of the time it was like that, or like a gentle fluteing sound, it never raised in anger, no matter what. "... can't fail.. please.... I don't want to be left behind again..."
He wasn't referring to being left behind in grades so much as being left without that little bit of support he needed from his twin. He was way too skittish to face a class alone.
One small hand grabbed onto the demon's arm and tightened... which wasn't all that noticable overall.

Even at full stregnth, Thomas was confident she could handle the lightweight angelic pundu. As it was with his illness, he hardly stirred against her at all. What a way to meet one another, ey? She looked down into the flushed face of Valenius with a growing sense of concern. These two males were so pretty. Not particularly handsome, or rugged, but pretty. And they had each other to hold on to, how fortunate.
"I'm sure with an illness as severe as yours, the teacher will forgive your absense. Worry not." Thomas said reassuringly to the ailing pundu in her arms, who flailed momentarily before holding onto her.
Thomas followed Ivan out into the hallway, making no further mention about the fact she just up and lifted his brother when only asked to help. It would have taken more effort to just support him, from the way Val had just fallen over earlier. "Which one of you is older, or do you not know?" She asked Ivan, following the night pundu toward the nurse's office.

Ivan sighed. He did not feel right having Thomas carry his brother. "I am the eldest. And my brother has already missed so much school. If only one of us were better in the magic arts we could do an illusion spell and I would be able to take the test for him."
Ivan walked infront of them leading the way to the nurses, it was rather clear from the way that he was walking that he indeed knew the way to get there. "If he gets too heavy please let me know and i will take him, Thomas." he said in his singsong voice though it sounded alittle flater then normal. "I will have to repay your kindness some how..."
It seemed that his mood shut down a bit.

Thomas chuckled at the thought of Ivan doing both tests simultaniously. Dian prodded her in the back and she glared in his direction. "That's cheating, Thomas." He reminded her gently, as if she didn't know! She snapped back under her breath, "Shut up, it's not like he can do it."
It was then she noticed Ivan slowly shutting himself off from her, giving her a deadpan delivery. What was bothering him? He wasn't like this when Val had first collapsed, so what was the deal? "Don' mention it." She said at last, watching him for a moment more before turning her attention to Val.
"It was really kind of you to do this." Dian said in her ear as he followed along behind her, looking over her shoulder. She didn't reply to this, only followed Ivan. Soon, the nurse's office came into view, large white and smelling of antiseptic and gauze. But, it was also the smell of healing, as they had an accomplished white mage for a nurse.

Ivan truned to Thomas at her outburst and raised his brow, "OH I know enough magic to do that...after all my brother and I look so much a like all have have to do is change te color of my fur and I could be a dead match for him."
He held the door to the nurses office open for Tomas and his brother she caired, "I am sorry to bother you again ma'am but my brother colasped again..." The tone in his voice showed that it happened quiet often. IT seemed his brother was always ill in some form or another. "Shall we just put him on of the back beds again?" Getting a nod from the healer he truned to Thomas, "Follow me please." He led the demonic Pundu to a room that was cut off by curtains. Inside the room were two beds. "Alright Val, you will just have to rest up here untill today is over and then I will take you home, do not worry about your test."
