i was at 6 flags today and i was STARVING so i went over to the food court and Panda Express smelled soooooooooooo good. See, my mom is allergic to peanuts so ive never had 1. snickers 2. peanuts 3. panda express 4. jiffy 5. a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich 6. A LOT MORE so i kinda snuck over there and barely had enough money for a plate, i got the Orange chicken and was like WOW it tasted soooooooo good, so now i want to make some at home so does anyone have a good orange chicken recipe that is peanut free??

I would have to say that food court chinese food is never very good, unless the food court is in a chinese shopping mall!!! But, I think Taste Of Japan, or Teriyaki Experience are usually pretty healthy and pretty good value, and usually pretty safe to eat!!!! Man.... now I am hungry too!!!

I would say to use any orange chicken recipe out there but modify it to leave out any nut product. Sorry to hear you have never had the pleasure of nuts because of your moms allergies. Maybe one day you will try some of these things you have missed out on since from the sounds of it you don't suffer with the llergy yourself.

That sucks that you've never had Snickers. Just eat some when she's away. >_> And I like the generic named Chinese food places near where I live. I don' know any orange chicken recipes, but they probably have some good ones on like foodnetwork.com or something. Or you can just keep sneaking off to Panda Express. (:

If you like Panda Express, try other hole-in-the-wall Chinese fast-food places. They're always pretty damn cheap and, though YMMV, trying the same dish at different places is the best way to find your faves.
There's a chain called Hong Kong Express (or at least that's a name generic enough that tons of restaurants are called that) and I could name at least four within a five mile radius of my house . . . only ONE of them has the bombest effing BBQ PORK EVERRRRR.
