Note: I have banned theLeopardTree due to his unacceptable conduct, and deleted all his posts/topics. I hope that whoever accepted him will not make the same mistake again.

Hi guys! I dont feel like creating another topic right now, so Im posting an update here. Im in Italy, and they dont have an apostrophe key on this keyboard which is driving me crazy. All they have is this thing (à) where the key should be. Anyway. Im in Assisi now! Just arrived here not too long ago from Venice. Venice is absolutely beautiful. Makes everywhere else pale in comparison, figuratively speaking. I hope you are all doing well, and I will return on the 11th with lots of stories to tell. :3 P.S. Our bus drivers name is Fabio.

I find your lack of apostrophe disturbing.
.... No one ever gets that joke, in retrospect. Never.
I seem to remember something about Venice being destroyed. Hmm.

Venice got destroyed (except the railto bridge) in the 1870's. But it was re built and now is sinking slowly, unless somthing is done it will be like atlantis in 2040.

Ahh. That explains it. I didn't know that. I wonder if they've got any plans for saving it.

Well, they have a fancy new dam that they call Moses to try and keep the flooding down, but other than that there's really not much they can do. After a few years bricks just start to disintegrate, and people are beginning to give up on the first floors of their houses and apartment buildings. Back in the Middle Ages and such everyone but the Doge (kind of like the duke of the city) and the Church were banned from using marble to build things because it was too heavy, but that seems like just a drop in the bucket now.
