Okay. I will now ask the two candidates to post their speeches here in this announcement. Please read both speeches before voting, and please be fair about it. Do not vote someone just because of their popularity or something. This is for the best of Vann Sky and their countless citizens. Good luck to both candidates, and a fair election to all.

Hello, my friends! Hello! It is a great honor for me to be here now, up here in front of you all. If somebody told me I would be here when I was a child, I'd had not have believed them, but I am, I'm here. I as your friend, not your superior promise to help out this colony of Vann Sky. I promise to create a world that anybody, no everybody will want to live in. I will expand and make city's with plenty of jobs for everybody to have, so they can make a living. I will build plenty of small towns at all areas for people to go to and relax at. I will use science and alchemy to help make your life as easy as possible. I will personally go and work there at any time possible. I will create a superior Law force, and I will further ally ourself with Avantgarde to help make defenses around us much more safe against any type of intruders, to help keep every single one of you safe.
He pointed his finger at random people in the audience

I won't sit back and relax, I will work as hard as I can to get everything right just for you. I promise not to overdo it with the city's. I will create forest and create oceans. I will play God just to make each and everyone of you happy. Never think of me as your superior.. Think of me as your underling, I am here to serve you. I am here to make everything for you better! Citizen will be the top of the line in a world with me in it.
I will expand this colony, and if I am successful.. I will have created a synthetic planet. I will expand technology, to a massive amount. I will not be able to do this though without a proper school system. I promise to give money, even if I have to do it out of my own pocket every single year for new school equipment. I want the children of this generation to succeed in life. I want them to become the best people that they can be. I want them do follow their dreams, I want them all to be remembered for something great!
My goal is to make this colony as great as the original Earth Sphere! I know it will take along time to get everything right, but if you don't elect me.. then it will never happen. I ask you.. is it better to have something great started, but not yet finished.. Or to not have it at all?

As governess of Vann Sky, I promise to take better security measures. With the threat of pirate attacks, I feel this is an important issue. My plans for improving Vann Sky's defense is to get a system of asteriod turrets to fire on hostile IFF signals. I would also have an Omnidirectional Shielding System for further defense. Since Vann Sky is a resort colony, it may be more prone to attacks. Because of this, I would like to begin a research branch to begin working with newer technologies to counter threats from Vann Sky's frontline.
For citizens' recreation and to take their minds off the war, I would also like to open up a branch of The Golden Phoenix Casino in Vann Sky. Along with this would come new games, some that have not even been revealed yet. If I am elected I guarantee Vann Sky to always be a very active place with lots to do. It will be an enjoyable place to live or to visit when you want a break to relax.
I feel that the citizens need to be heard. If I am elected I will listen to what you have to say. If you feel that Vann Sky needs something, or have any kind of idea that you would like to see at Vann Sky, you can always tell me about it. I believe that by implementing citizens' ideas, Vann Sky will be a better and more appealing place to live.
As governess, I promise to take my job seriously. I am very dedicated to this job, and I promise to protect my citizens as well as make Vann Sky a great place to live and enjoy.

This election will end soon after the battle at Mythril Legion begins to quiet down. The new Governor will be announced then, along with another announcement.
Edit: Too many people's posting too much, often that hasn't much to do with what the election is for. So I must remind you all that this thread is only to read the candidates' speeches and to vote on the poll. Please refrain from posting anything here, and if anything, post it in the Discussions Thread. Thank you.

This election will end tonight, at 12 AM. Hopefully we can expect greater experiences here later on as we reopen the Vanguardian Axis in it's renewal..
