-Personality-
The subject, Adam Keller, exibits tendencies of rebellion and cynicism in a psychological profiling. His view on the world being his playground is a bit disconcerting. However, material possessions are viewed as his for the taking though his morality –as much as it can be- prevents him from doing any real damage. His take on authority gives reason to take caution. He reacts uneasily in the presence of authority figures and prefers to avoid their efforts.
-Physical Appearance-
23 yearold Adam has caramel skintone, deep brown eyes, and black hair (grown up to reach his forehead). He is a bit hairy, having a short coat of black hair covering his chest, stomach, arms and legs. When it comes to clothing he mostly keeps it short, a habit from his homeland. His casual outfit usually consists of a white shirt, short blue pants, and a pair of sandals. He’s got some muscle tone, but not too much, due to a fitness hiatus.
-History-
Adam is a native-born Israeli, brought into a military family. His father was a pilot and his mother a teacher. His father’s profession left Adam on military bases most of his childhood, causing him to develop a very cynical view of the world. As a child, his mischievous nature led him to steal for fun, and perhaps for attention, but he never harmed anyone.
He would have failed in school if he hadn’t cheated his way through. At eighteen, he was drafted into the army as part of mandatory service. A short time after, his dad suffered a mental breakdown (and snapped) due to certain things we went through in his own military career. His dad’s breakdown triggered Adam’s escape from the military, and his homeland.

Arctic Fox This animal• raises its young in dens up to 300 years old, with as many as 100 entrances • is the smallest canid, or doglike animal, in Canada • ”migrates” in search of food in lean years • has a white or pale bluish-grey coat in winter and a dark brown or darker bluish-grey coat in summer Description The arctic fox Alopex lagopus, or white fox as it is often called, is a member of the canid family and is related to other foxes, wolves, and dogs.It weighs from 2.5 to 9 kg and measures between 75 and 115 cm in length, making it the smallest wild canid in Canada—about the size of a large domestic cat. The long, bushy tail makes up between 30 and 35 percent of its total length. Arctic foxes have smaller, more rounded ears, a more rounded braincase, and a slightly shorter and broader muzzle than the red fox, Vulpes vulpes. Over the winter, the arctic fox has a heavy white coat, but during May, when the snow begins to melt, this coat is shed for a thinner, two-tone brown one. Within a few weeks the back, tail, and legs are dark brown and the remaining underparts are a buff colour. A small proportion of arctic foxes have a heavy, pale bluish-grey coat in winter, which becomes thinner and darker bluish-grey in summer. The blue coloration (blue fox) occurs in almost all populations, although the proportion tends to be higher in those animals living in marine areas that remain mostly ice-free during winter. In Canada, blue foxes seldom make up more than 5 percent of animals that are trapped, whereas in Greenland, for example, the proportion of blue foxes may reach 50 percent. Colour morphs are determined genetically at a single locus, white being recessive. The "blue" morph comprises less than 1% of the population through most of its continental range, but this proportion increases westwards in Alaska, and on islands. Signs and soundsThe voice of the arctic fox is a sound rarely heard except during the breeding season. Courting foxes communicate with a barking yowl that may be heard over a great distance. Adults also yelp to warn their whelps, or pups, of danger and give a high-pitched undulating whine when disputing territorial claims with neighbouring foxes. FeedingThe diet of the arctic fox varies greatly from one part of its range to another. In the vast expanses of the continental tundra region, the arctic fox is almost entirely dependent on lemmings throughout the year. Only 5 to 10 percent of the summer diet consists of birds, eggs, ground squirrels, and berries. In winter, the fox continues its search for lemmings, which are active under the snow. Other winter food items include the meat caches, or hidden stores, of Inuit trappers, wolf kills, and food cached by the fox during summer To satisfy the food requirements of their whelps, or pups, adult arctic foxes living on the tundra hunt lemmings throughout the sunlit arctic summer night, from about 4:00 in the afternoon until 10:00 or 11:00 the following morning. Each adult usually conducts 10 to 15 hunts per night and brings back from three to eight lemmings per hunt. When lemmings are abundant the foxes hunt over an area of 2.5 to 5.0 km2. However, when food is scarcer, the adults probably range much further. Foxes capture the lemmings by digging them from their nests, which are located in soft peaty hummocks. In open tundra covered with low-lying or sparse vegetation, foxes capture active lemmings with a quick dash and a pounce. Lemmings detected in areas of low bush are pounced on as the fox slowly stalks through the bush. The abundance of Arctic Foxes tends to fluctuate in a cycle along with the population of lemmings In other areas, other rodents, such as ground squirrels and voles, are an important source of food, and during summer, adult birds, eggs, and flightless young also make up a large part of the diet. Arctic foxes that inhabit coastal regions also hunt for small marine animals, fish, and carrion, or flesh of dead animals, along shorelines. During winter, these foxes venture onto the sea ice, where they frequently trail polar bears for the remains of seal kills and seek out seal dens to capture the pups. Foxes living close to major seabird colonies raid nests for eggs and capture hundreds of birds, which they cache for food in winter. Some also search along lakeshores during June, hoping to flush a duck, goose, or shorebird from its nest and eat its eggs. Arctic foxes sometimes attack Sandhill Cranes and geese, but are seldom successful against such large prey Many tourists visit the North to see wildlife, and the arctic fox is one species that they have an excellent chance of observing. These attractive wild canines often visit campsites in search of food and activity. In the past, this has been both a welcome diversion and an inconvenience; for example, scientists who visited colonies where seabirds breed had to take precautions not only against the loss of food from their campsite, but also against leading the foxes, which eat both eggs and chicks, to the nests that they were studying. Breeding The foxes tend to form monogamous pairs in the breeding season. In March or April, two months before the end of winter, arctic foxes begin to form mating pairs. Mating follows a long and playful period of courtship involving much active chasing and play-fighting. Throughout the females’ 51- to 57-day pregnancy, the pair remains together and finds a den for raising the whelps, or pups. Den sites are typically located on the tops or sides of eskers, which are ridges of coarse gravel, or on the tops of banks of lakes or rivers where the soil is sandy, dry, and stable. The den sites are usually free from snow earlier than the surrounding landscape because of the good drainage. Dens may be up to 300 years old and possess as many as 100 entrances. Before the birth of the whelps, both adults share the responsibility for cleaning out a portion of the den and digging one or more new entrances. Litters of arctic foxes are born between late May and early June. The average litter size is about 11 whelps. It is the largest litter recorded for any wild mammal in the world. Litters of up to 22 whelps have been recorded in Russia. At birth the whelps are blind, helpless, covered with hair, and weigh about 57 g. Compared to other canids, the male fox is probably one of the most attentive and best providers of food during the denning period. Just before the birth of the whelps and while the female is spending her time nursing and caring for the litter, the male hunts for food for her. After five to six weeks, when the whelps are weaned, the female begins to share the hunting duties with her mate and gradually provides well over half of the food to the growing litter. Although the amount of food provided by the male gradually decreases, he continues to bring food to the den site until the whelps begin to leave the den about 14 to 15 weeks after birth The large litter size and rapid growth of the whelps keep the adults busy hunting for food. An average litter of 11 whelps just starting to eat solid food requires about 30 lemmings or the equivalent in other food per day. The demand increases to over 100 lemmings per day just before the whelps leave the den. The adults and young consume about 3 500 to 4 000 lemmings during the denning period.Arctic foxes' habitats are tundra and coastal areas. The white morph is generally associated with true tundra habitat, the blue more with coastal habitat. Encounters Doctor Moreau - He locked me up after trying to steal from Feral Labs. can't say I blame him. I never liked spoiled rich guys who had it all handed to them on a silver plate. Jordan Essex - Used to work under me on Feral Labs. I managed to convince him to 'lend' some secret papers for me from a room only he had access to. I didn't mean to get him into trouble, but I do blame him for being too innocent and naive to actually trust me like that. Never heard from him since we got caught.

- Rockhouse Blues - Doctor Moreau Moreau strode down the halls of his facility on the mainland, one of several facilities that were off the beaten track as it were. He had a particular goal in mind for today though. Something he needed to take care of... someone who would be joining the island very shortly as a new subject. Moreau hadn't brought him in earlier because he didn't want him distracting Jordan. But now, and with a need for a new test subject, Moreau felt it was time to introduce him to what would be his home for the rest of his life. Which might have been a relief, considering he'd spent the last 6 months in a prison cell operated by Feral Labs. Adam Keller Adam panted loudly, seeing the all too familiar cell floor coming closer to view, then further off again as he pushed himself up once more. A puddle of sweat forming on the floor already. He hated sweating. Back in his hot homeland, he used to shower 3-4 times a day to keep as clean as possible. He promised himself he’d never resort to pushups in a cell, but that was before spending time in one cell for 6 months straight. It was dark, as usual, and the guards didn’t let him out much. During the first 2 weeks or so he was still patient, thinking they’d probably let him go sooner or later, but days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months. Once a day or so he was let out on a short walk, and shower, but that wasn’t enough. You can only keep yourself busy for so long. Being isolated and sensory deprived, your mind wanders back and forth about every single thing that happened in your life up to this point for hours on end. But eventually you get tired, so you sleep, and when you can’t sleep you walk around in your cage, and when you’re just too edgy to walk around anymore you do what they all do- pushups. It gets the job done, gets your mind off of things, and tires you enough to sleep some more, and pass another day in the land of dreams. Waking up was always a drag, rediscovering all over again you’re still locked up, and hoping that next time you fall asleep, you’ll wakeup someplace else, out of these walls. Adam wasn’t sure how long has passed exactly since they locked him up, but he was pretty sure that if they don’t free him soon he’ll snap. Pacing back and forth inside the small, lonely cage for months was getting pretty old. He felt like a trapped animal in a way, waiting for his meal to arrive twice a day, and to be taken out on a walk in the hallway. Sad thing was, after 6 months he learned to expect it, that’s all he could think about, his daily walk. He learned the guards timing. Any minute now, the door will open and the uniformed guard will cuff him, and lead him out. Doctor Moreau Moreau approached the cell nodded his head and then spoke up to draw the prisoner's attention "Hello Adam, I assume you know who I am?" Adam Keller Adam grunted again, giving one final push up before looking up, his knees using him for support as he lifted himself up, rubbing his neck with a grin, "Oh officer its about time, I was worried you'd forgotten all about m.." Adam then paused for a few seconds and blinked as he realized its not the guard standing there, but someone else. The voice didn’t sound too familiar, but the red hair, the glasses, that lab coat, it must be... His heart sank in fear as he gulped, tilting head to one side as he asked uncertainly, "Moreau..?" Doctor Moreau "Yes one in the same. I'm sure by now you are regretting nosing into my company's business?" Moreau gave a sly smirk, he was privledged, and couldn't image ever living like this poor soul did. He did not actually sit in any kind of moral high ground. Moreau had done worse things than Adam would probably ever do, if he were free. Of course, in Moreau's mind it was all for the cause of science while Adam appeared to be pure greed. That didn't change the fact that his sins were far worse, and almost any of them could have him locked up for a very very long time, luckily for him, he held the power as far as all things were concerned here. Adam Keller Adam swallowed hard again, standing there for a long minute as he just stared at the doctor, mind blank, probably from the shock. He'd been waiting for this moment for so long, ever since they locked him up. His mind occupied days on end thinking about what to say to Moreau if and when he'd get the chance to see him. He damn well knew Moreau was in charge of everything around here, and that he had all the power he’ll ever need to do just about anything pleased. There's no right and wrong, good or bad - there's only rich and poor, and he knew that well. They kept him there for months in their private prison, and he knew the guards here would gladly shoot him to death if only instructed by Moreau. Adam swallowed hard again, knowing what he was about to say next would determine his fate. "Moreau, sir, I'm terribly sorry for what happened. I want you to know there was nothing personal against you in my actions" Doctor Moreau "Glad to hear that, because I'm here to grant you some measure of freedom." Moreau grinned and then looked in the other direction, as if he was going to leave. "Unless you aren't interested that is?" Adam Keller Adam blinked again, this was way too easy. The Doctor couldn’t have possibly been waving a free ticket in his face for no reason. Being a trickster himself, Adam could well sense a trap when he faced one. Unfortunately for him, being cooped up for so long numbed his senses and besides, he didn't have much of a choice. Adam almost leaped after the doctor, shaking his head wildly, begging like a lowlife scum "oh nonono.. please, don’t go!" he felt so humiliated, but he had to get out! "I'm interested!" the thought of that door closing behind him again almost made him cry. Doctor Moreau "Good, now turn around, and put your back to the bars and your arms around them, if you pull away the deal is off." Moreau appeared to be setting his briefcase down and began to open it. "Quickly now." he said to Adam. Adam Keller Adam quickly turned and pressed his back against the bars, closing his eyes as he let out a loud sigh. This routine wasn't unusual to him anymore. He sucked his pride in and knew, it’s now or never. He couldn’t face another day locked up, not now that he was actually been given hope. Doctor Moreau Moreau pulled a large needle out from his briefcase, this wasn't one of his serum needles though, no he'd never travel with that. But this was the large needle that he used to implant the chip along the spine. "This will probably hurt some. Most people are gassed before we do this in their sleep." Moreau injected the needle directly into Jordan's back, all the way down to the bone. Adam Keller Adam tried to squint back and see what the doctor was planning. When he heard the briefcase clicking open he knew it wasn't the sound of handcuffs, he was expecting those. He didn't have much time to react, "hurt...? gassed? AHHH!!". The most painful jolt of pain he ever felt paralyzed his shocked body completely. He was certain the doctor just shot him in the back. Dropping to the floor he started squirming like a worm, wincing and screaming in pain. At this point he was hoping he'd black out from the pain, but he wasn’t that lucky. After a few long minutes the pain started to subside, but it still hurt like hell. Adam kept laying there on the floor, grunting in pain, and panting, "ohhw...hh..oh god..." Doctor Moreau "Alright, now you are safe to travel with." Moreau ushered guards in to cuff you and help you get back onto your feet. "I'll tell you about what is in store along the way. Just remember, it has to be better than this..." Moreau grinned again and waited for Adam to be able to stand again. Adam Keller Adam couldn't resist much as the guards came in and cuffed him. Barely able to stand, he felt dizzy, the throbbing pain in his back almost causing him to fall down again. "w..what did you do...it...hurts..so..much..." Doctor Moreau "I think it's better if we don't explore that option." Moreau lead Adam out, the guards making sure he didn't flinch, as the van he'd brought was taken to the airport. Moreau not giving much information on the way. Adam Keller Adam started feeling better. The pain killer was setting in. His body felt numb, including his head, which felt a bit clouded and foggy. The fresh air made him feel good though ,he missed it so much. Adam closed his eyes as he was led outside, blinded by the sun. He had no idea what was going on exactly, and where he was being taken. He just prayed Moreau didn’t have any more painful plans in store for him. Doctor Moreau After Adam was safely aboard the helicopter, with the large black intimidating pilot at the helm Moreau felt comfortable in... spilling the beans as it were. "So.... curious as to the next stipulation of your release." Adam Keller Adam has been sitting quiet the whole time, altering his gaze between the intimidating pilot, Moreau, and the outside window. He rubbed the sore spot on his back. Thankfully the strong painkiller had kicked in some time ago, though it was taking its toll aswell. Adam felt strangely calm, his head was foggy and he couldn't concentrate much on thinking, "Uh..?" he blinked and looked back at the doctor again, "oh.. yes actually. Am I being set free?" he looked out the window again. His finger touched the cold outline of the glass, so happy to see the outside world again. Doctor Moreau "In a manner of speaking... You won't have to be in a jail cell... but you’re going to be an experiment. But if you behave yourself things could be... pleasant for you. Perhaps I'll even use a well tested serum on you." Moreau smiled, confident in Adam's position of powerlessness, with James at the helm and Adam cuffed and chipped. Adam Keller By now, the painkillers have started to wear off, and so Adam felt less drowsy, but much more edgy. He squinted hard as he was trying to understand what exactly the doctor was saying. Being an Israeli, he knew the Nazis used to experiment on people and the thought of that made him shudder in fear. "Experiment? me? but, I'm a human being!" He damn well knew that excuse wouldn’t work with Moreau’s twisted moral codes, but his own subconscious defense mechanism was stronger than his logic. His heart started racing again, cold sweat started dripping from his forehead. Doctor Moreau "Yes you are, unfortunately for you I'm doing human experimentation. But don't worry, the process is mostly safe. Well some of the experiments anyway." Moreau gave a cat-like grin. "You'll have an entire island to roam though, as you like." Adam Keller Adam closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He had to keep his emotions under control. He had to think of a way to outsmart the doctor, knowing it'd be hard as hell, but he had to think, and in order to think he had to keep his emotions at bay. "I'm sorry, I'm a little dizzy… excuse me for a minute please" Adam closed his eyes and took another deep breath, as he tried to think. The rotor noise was distracting, but he did his best to concentrate as much as he could. Evaluation the situation was crucial, and urgent. It had to be done before they reached the island the doctor was talking about. Adam knew there's no chance in hell the island wouldn't be guarded somehow, so if he had to make a move it might as well be soon. Having the chip installed into his back, he knew it had a role in affecting the central nervous system, probably shocking the test subjects, making them faint, or worse... So escaping right away wouldn’t be possible, plus jumping out of a helicopter in mid flight would probably end his life as it is. Opening his eyes again he saw the doctor's face, he had to think of something, how could he get on Moreau's better side? Being locked up for so long has withered his mind, but he knew he still had it in him. Acting violent with the doctor would probably get him killed, so his mind turned to devise a different approach. Adam knew it was a long shot. Even though he had a lot to lose, he was a risk taker. He gave the doctor the fakiest smile he could master in a stressful situation such as this. Even though his heart was racing with fear he leaned back and tried to act calm. The next words he was about to use would be crucial, so he had to choose them carefully. Adam wanted to use something playful, yet suggestive. He couldn’t tell much about Moreau’s sexual orientation, so he had to make a bet. "So doctor, you like cuffing guys up?" he kept smiling and raised a brow questionably at Moreau, leaning a little closer in hopes to get more signs out of Moreau's reaction. Doctor Moreau Moreau gave Adam a blank stare, almost an angry look, then he reevaulated the situation and he smirked. "No, I don't think so... I have a fiancee. But I'm sure you'll be able to find someone more to your taste on my island. You should look up a man named Newt." tchristensen81: "Or perhaps your old friend... Jordan." Moreau grinned wider. Adam Keller Adam blinked and was taken aback for a few seconds, but he wasn't ready to give up yet. The doctor's smirk was a good sign, at least so he thought. He took another chance and wriggled a little closer to Moreau, but not too much. Remembering well his hands were still cuffed, "I'm sure I could be of a much better use to you than a test subje..." Adam froze at Moreau's following statement, he completely forgot about Jordan! It took him weeks to get rid of the guilt trips for getting Jordan in trouble as well. He convinced himself Jordan has probably been sent free. He even wrote a letter after he was just captured, stating Jordan wasn't aware of his plans. He had no remorse of causing trouble to those who deserved it, but Jordan was really innocent and naive, and Adam didn't like the thought of hurting him. He looked over at the doctor and sighed, afraid to ask the next question: "Jordan? wait, I thought you let him go. I even wrote..." Doctor Moreau "No, he is still serving a purpose to Feral Labs... as you will be soon. Look, we are almost there." Moreau motioned to the window where the island could be seen in the distance. Adam Keller Adam gulped as he looked out the window, knowing he didn’t have much time left alone with Moreau. He had to put Jordan aside for now, for his own good. His next move had to be carried out without delay. Adam's grin returned as a click was heard. He took his now, un cuffed arms from behind his back and wrapped them around Moreau's shoulders suggestively. He was hoping to catch the doctor by surprise, "As you can see..." he leaned a little closer and kept smiling, "I'm sure you could have a better use for my.. skills...how about you let me work for you?" At moments like this he was happy he used to practice hours on end on lockpicking. Doctor Moreau Moreau spoke three words "Adam Keller.... sleep." as the chip that Moreau had had installed went into effect, sending a shock to Adam's nerve system that would put him into instant unconciencess. Adam Keller Before he could react, Adam felt a zap running up his spine. Feeling sick and disoriented, his facial muscles twitched as his brain was shutting down. He tried his best to stay awake but the battle against the chip was futile. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as a soft groan escaped his throat, falling limp against the doctor, unconscious. Doctor Moreau Adam woke up, hours later, a slight pain in his arm, and a small needle wound there. He was in a room almost like a hotel, a bit larger with a bed, restroom, a couple of dressers. It was too late for him, when he went outside he would find himself in the bottom part of a duplex, on Moreau's island.
