Time sure flies by doesn't it? Just think, in only 7 months, it'll be time for us to once again pick up our pens, chalk, keyboards, or whatever, and hide ourselves away from the rest of the world every evening and weekend in an attempt to once again (or for the first time), manage to break the 50k mark in a single month.
I'm sure no one here is even thinking of it at this time. Heck, I'd be surprised if I get a single reply to this message. But what I want to know is, how many of you are as eager to begin the madness already?
This past year was my second year in the competition, my first year as a champion. I dragged 14 new people into NaNoWriMo this year, and 3 of them were winners. Needless to say, I'm eager to go for it once again...
Does anyone still hang out with their NaNo buddies, even though the big event has long passed? Has anyone continued to work hard and finish their novels? Anyone manage publication?

well I sure am excited and probly more determined to do it this time, hopefully I will be able to get away and WRITE, I believe I was on a writers block last NANOWRIMO and I had so much school work. We will have to see the conditions, if it's a sunny day for me I'll be super happy
(one comment heh)

I've already got a concept, and I'm itching to get it on paper. I just hope that I do a little better in balancing my writing schedule this year, and that I don't procrastinate to the point of having to write 24 thousand words in one day.

I've been thinking of an idea for a while now, but nothing's come up. My original plan was to work on an idea I've had for a few years, but I tried that last year and it didn't turn out so well. I need something original, so I'm glad we've got half a year left!
