It is a tiny town that preserves the history of Sinnoh and the old ways of life, the center of town has a small shrine that dates back to ancient times. It is the smallest town in the entire region. It is also one of the oldest, and some say the town was there since Sinnoh came to be created. There's no Pokémon Mart in the city, so a pair of old people run a shop out of their house. Celestic Town is the hometown of Cynthia, and her grandmother, grandfather, and little sister still live there.
A thing of real interest in the town are etchings inside a cave telling the legend of the Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie.
