How do I evangelize...
to an agnostic with slightly Buddhist beliefs?
My friend Devin, well I don't really know what he believes in, but one day my other friend, Veronica, overheard him on this interview thingy that they were doing in our school library. The interviewer asked him what his beliefs were, and he said that he's not sure about what to believe in, but slightly believes in Buddhism anyway because he thinks that it makes sense.
I've known him for 3 months now, but I never really asked him myself about his beliefs. In fact, I haven't really told him about my faith yet and that I go to church, youth group fellowship, etc. Because I'm kind of afraid to. >_<
He goes to a traditional Shaolin Kung Fu martial arts school, which explains his slight beliefs in Buddhism. And just back in November, he quit school and chose to be home-schooled just so he could concentrate on training more for his martial arts. He trains for 8 hours a day! >_<
And tomorrow Monday, I'm going to share the Gospel to him after we're done watching the 300 movie. My friend Melissa will be there to help me along, but sometimes I'm afraid that the method she taught me in how to evangelize won't work. :/
(she taught me the Way of the Master, but...eh, I don't know. I don't like that whole "you'll be judged on Jugdement Day" feel to it. I think it might drive Devin away).

You don't want to push him too hard, like you said yourself. It might just push him away. Just question him about his beliefs, and then share yours. Let Jesus shine through you to touch him.

Be in prayer all before you meet him for that movie. The Holy Spirit will give you the words to say. Be in prayer, read His word, be spiritually prepared.
I can think of no better advice to give.
