Alright, I know how to beat rogues, warriors, and pallys by kiting, but how do hunters fight casters? Can't kite, because they all use ranged spells to begin with. So my question is twofold.
1.) I haven't checked all the way down the skill tree. Do hunters get a spell interupt ability?
2.) When fighting casters, do I try to out-dps them, out survive them, or just run.

Not much you can do but send your pet in and keep shooting to hopefully interupt their casting. Scattershot will help but that isnt avalible for a while.

Keep them out of your dead zone, hope your pet doesn't get Poly-d, you don't get Seduced/Feared.
And yes, I believe there's a silencing shot at the end of Marksmenship - not sure, Hunter is one of least favorite classes.

LULZ MAGES. Get the jump on them by hiding in the bushes in WSG, and Aimed Shot - Arcane - Multi them to death.

i have a beast spec hunter as my main. When fighting casters i use intimidation to stun them and fire up bestial wrath. shoot the hell out of them and they are dead in a few seconds.

I'll warn you, casters fear your giant pink pet much more then that shitty silencng shot.

Well, from experience in getting absolutley PWNED by hunters every now and then, Yes, Hunters get a casting-interupt. And a really wierd mana-drain shot. And pets to interupt my casting even more. If you just do these things...then you too can be my bane and mortal foe.
And then I turn you into a sheep. For five seconds...
