Hi, I am opening tis for everyone to post a thought or question they have of the bible. I guess I'll start.
Don't look at the crucifiction of Christ as an unattractive thing, look at it with rejoice. this week, rejoice the crucifiction. He died for you and made your soul clean. You should be happy about that.

But suffering is unattractive. If we don't take suffering for what it is how can we rejoice in what it did for us?
The crucifixion was horrible. But we should have been flogged. We should have been spit upon, mocked, beaten, and bruised. It should have been our garments that were divided among our killers for sport. God should have turned His face from us.
Christ became a curse for us since we are all cursed to death. We must realize how horrible the crucifixion was to realize fully just how amazing God's love is in that.
