Why do people sell things for 4,294,967,295g? Why that number?

I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with the show Lost. But under the assumption it's not, I'm guessing it's just a number people use to keep items in their store from being sold, a.k.a. an equivalent to the Storage Locker in the inventory organization tool. I could be wrong.

i've never understood it. The only thing I can think of is maybe they are posting a high price to let the bidding go up as high as it can? but they could do that with bid only.

A lot of times people do that to prove that they own the item when they're selling using the Exchange.
