In the middle of London, in a small worn down building, it seems a new store has opened. Obviously not one geared towards profit, either, judging from it's merchandise. Rare objects from the history of the United States, Europe, Japan...and places in between. Even things that people were convinced didn't exist anymore can be found in this mysterious shop, with it's surprisingly young shopkeeper.

Rumors abound about this young man too, adding even more to the aura of mystery surrounding him. The most normal of them say he's from the US, which he'll confirm if you ever ask him. Then there are the more esoteric ones, stating that he hides his right eye because it's gold and lizard-like, or that there are stories of a man like him having done things here decades or centuries ago.

These, he'll just ignore, going about his business in his shop as usual.

Slipping through the doors, was a slinder man of about twenty six years if one were to guess, however his age was far beyond that. As he walked the small shop his eyes which normally were covered by a single cloth was now covered by shades. His clothing no longer the form of a saintly priest but that of a man his age. Simple blue jeans, a button up red shirt over a dull brown turtle next shirt, despite the weather this one wore such clothing more for his own securities then others.

One hand in his pocket the other "feeling" around the shop for what item he was so bent on having. Secrets about this shop went in one ear and out the other. So long as it held antique items of an Asian quality he didn't care what mysteries the shop or its owner shared.

Items of an asian quality? Why, a whole third of the shop was dedicated to such things, in the back left corner. Mostly of Japanese origin, but there was still plenty from both China and Korea too. Of course not everything was out there either. There were also the 'back room' items, not shown to the general public except on request.

Of course, the man in the shop might notice that the shopkeeper seemed to be nowhere to be found. He was presumably behind the door that lead to the back room. Still, if the customer wanted him, there was always the bell on the checkout desk to ring for assistance.

Stepping around the shop, Ennui managed his way to the shop desk where he felt around. Usually quaint little shops like these had a bell. As if materializing he managed to find a small bell and ranged it a few times while he waited for assistance.

And, hearing the bell, Tristan would almost seem to materialize if Ennui wasn't paying attention to the door in the back. In fact, Tristan would walk out quietly to stop behind Ennui. Just by looking, and with his senses, Tristan could tell what he though Ennui was, even after all of these years. But even then...it wasn't something he wanted to think about. This was just a customer.

And so, he looked upon Ennui with his uncovered eye, and spoke.

"Welcome to Clockwork Memories, sir. Are you here to browse, or is there a specific antique you're looking for today?"

A Child of Azoth? The first question that came to mind at the meer presence of the shop owner. "I am searching for a tea set of an Asian quality. Perferably Chinese..." he spoke calmly, marginally. There were no need to state the obvious they both knew the other on a different level and nothing more. "If you would be so kind as to direct me in that area I'm sure I can do the rest." He didn't state his blindness if anything, the older Child of Azoth would have heard of him, being that Ennui was younger.

[I so want to see a picture of Ennui in the clothing I discribed him in.. *rushes off to look for an illustrator* ]

"A Chinese tea set?"

Tristan paused for a moment, going through his mental inventory. He didn't remember everything, but he did remember having a few. A couple from the last century or so, and then other, older and more expensive ones in the back.

"They're over there, in the right side of the oriental section. Depending on if you just want a tea set, or are looking for something rarer, I may have to go into the back instead to show you the older objects."

"Indeed, I am looking for something more authentic and antique if you might have something..." He thought a moment slipping a finger under his chin. "Ah.. something green with gold in it perferably."

And Tristan almost twitched. In fact, one of his eyes did twitch slightly, but it was the one hidden behind his eye patch, so he assumed the customer wouldn't notice. He was going to be polite, this time. He was. He wasn't going to yell at the customer, snap at them, threaten them, kick them out of his store for annoying him...he was going to behave. Or so he kept telling himself.

As it was, Tristan kept the bubbling irritation under caps, and tried his best to keep a polite and business like face.

"If you'd go ahead and take a look around the area for things you might want, while I checked the back, then?"
