April Event... Story Start.

Thomas gave a yawn as he passed into the kitchen. It had been a slow day at the shop. He had even managed to finish all of his chores. He poured himself a cup of warm coffee. "Mmmm... so nice."The medusa talked to himself. Mitsume was bathing and Viktor was off doing whatever. All that mattered to him was Viktor wasn't there driving him insaine.

Thomas leaned on the counter and gave his nose a little rub. He could swear it almost smelled like there was something burning. A soft smell of ash. How strange, he knew Viktor wasn't home, and certainly hadn't made cookies recently. Curiosity baited the medusa and he followed as best he could the smell.

There was something old about it. The smell started to remind him of old books, or rocks and trees, of oceans... of something old, but dry. This was never good.

He wasn't exactly expecting to see someone standing in the doorway looking around. Had the bell on the door rang? He could have sworn he didn't hear it. There was a... man? He wasn't quite sure. But this person smelled of the oldness he tracked, not that he looked it. The source of burning became apparent when he saw the stangers lamp.

"Hello." the young 'man' spoke, then stood silent.



Thomas tried not to glare as he looked him over. "... Hello." His host instincts kicked in finally. "Welcome. Would you care for some tea?" the medusa moved to the side and gestured with his arm the way towards the entertaining room. "Please, come in."

The man followed Thomas. He sat down and set his lamp on the table, but not out of his reach. Thomas' guest smiled a very small and soft smile. "You welcomed me in, but... I'm afraid i did not catch your name."

The medusa introduced himself, though not shaking hands. "Thomas."

The man's lips curled with a hint of a smile, "I am Kin Yukio. It is a pleasure to meet you Thomas."

Thomas excused himself to make the new guest tea. Something just didn't feel right about this one, and he had been working at the shop to have a pretty good clue. He started the water then snuck off to his master's office. He gave a soft knock on the door.

"Come in."

Thomas moved the door as little as possible and entered. He could see Kip was trimming a very tiny tree, perhapse for bonzai. "There is someone here who... " Thomas stopped and thought of what to say next, " I don't think is here to buy a pet. A Kin Yukio?" He ended his sentence and watched his master for a reaction. Which he got.

Kip practically dropped the tiny scissors she was using in a rush to set them down. "Did he ask you for anything? Did he offer to trade?!" her woice was rshed with concern and almost panic. Thomas was now far more worried then he was before. Kip really hoped this was some terrible April Fool's joke.

Story part 2...

As Thomas and Kipestshin rushed to the living room, she warned him. "Don't let him trick you... he is a wishgranter for a price. He will gladly take from you things you won't miss until they are gone..."

Thomas could hear the sound of talking. It was Kin and... Mitsume. His heart went cold. That creature better not harm his dear Mitsume.

Kin Yukio looked softly at the little green medusa. Mitsume was quite taken by him, and was having a terrible time showwing it. He made his move. "Mitsume... is there anything you desire?" his voice was as soft as flowers, "anything you wish?"

Mitsume looked down, only blushing harder. He knew nothing of this man, and assumed he was a guest of his master. She had all sorts of strange company. "M-me?" he stuttered and looked up with a smile, "I already have so much. I..." he adverted his eyes again. The man's skin looked like a doll, only softer. He rubbed his fingers together.

"There has to be something..." Kin's voice grew a bit more empowered, "your heart's desire... anything." He looked over the medusa's scars and missing arm.

Mitsume couldn't help but look back at the stranger. What an odd way to have a conversation. He gave a soft laugh then looked shyly at him. " I... would like to touch you..." he bit the bottom of his lip, almost not beliving what he was asking, "your face..."

Kin saw the medusa curs his fingers into a fist, as it to punish his hand for wanting that. "So.. that is your wish then?" he leaned closer.

Mitsume looked back at him and was felt like he was only inches away. "Y-yes, please." his face was burning.

Kin's eyes were serious, as was his voice. Soft, but serious. "Then what will I take as payment?" his voice like syurp. He caught the sound of footsteps approching, so he didn't haggle much. " a touch for a touch?" His ear twitched.

Mitsume's face was on fire. He was mistaking Kin's actions at flirting. "Heh... okay." He reached his hand up to touch Kin's delecate features, right as Thomas burst into the room with Kipestshin. Mitsume was startled, but gave into his desire and quickly touched Kin's face. He wasn't prepared for the pain that shot back into his fingers. Mitsume instinctivly curled into a ball cradeling his arm. It felt like he had touched lightning.

"What did you do to him you b*****d!" Thomas hissed and bared his fangs. He went to move, but was stopped when Kip slammed her hand onto his shoulder, telling him to stay.

"Mitsume, are you okay?" Kip's voice was almost monotone, her gaize locked on Kin. Her question was only met with a wimper. As she expected. "It has been a long time... Kin Yukio. Thomas, would you take Mitsume to go lay down?"

Thomas snarled threatening at Kin. He started to help his friend up when the man spoke. "Wait. I.. will take my payment now then." Kip's eye narrowed. Thomas was the one to speak however. "Like HELL you are taking anything!" He puffed his chest up and was ready to strike if anyone came near. His tail rattled.

"I will take my payment now." Kin's voice left no room for question. Mitsume touched Thomas' hand. "I-itssss o...o-okay. I promised." Mitsume was shakeing. Kin approched. "p-please Thomas..." Mitsume's voice was almost to soft to be heard. It didn't feel right, but Thomas stepped back. Only because Mistume had asked.

As Kin's fingers were only inches away from Mitsume's shoulder, Thomas shot his master a look. She wasn't doing anything. His bloodpresure only got worse with his anger.

Mitsume was shaking and still amost numb from the pain. Tears made their way down his cheeks. His clenched his teeth in anticipation.

Ivory fingers pealed back the collar of the medusa's shirt, and softy touched where an arm should be. Mitsume cowered back more in habit then in pain. Actually, there wasn't any. He was shy and wasn't big on anyone touching him there. Thomas quickly made his way over and glared at the man, "There, you got whatever the hell you wanted. He is comming with me." The rattlesnake quickly helpped his friend up, and took him to his room.

Just Kipestshin and Kin Yukio stood alone.

"You will not grant wishes for anything other then pets while you are under this roof." Kip stared at him. Kin's eyes slitted as he looked back at her. She had no power over him, but this was her place, and he would follow her rules. "As you...," he smiled, "like."

The two stood there for a moment. "I assume you are here for a reason." Kip stated more then posing a question. "Yes." Kin opened his mouth to speak then stopped upon hearing Thomas comming, "but now is not the time for that."
