My friend got me a bunch of their videos. The first were Somewhere Around Nothing, Hope vol2, Nothing Else Matters, Harmagedon. The best of those i think were Somewhere Around Nothing and Hope vol2.(at the time)

Cant go wrong with somewhere around nothing lol. Dave Lombardo of Slayer did the drumming for that song with Mikko only doing additional drums. Later reviews said Mikko not only matches the quality and speed of the drumming but also surpasses it

Might be, but i may have read that Dave is one of the best drummers in the world, but if Mikko can do better than thats awesome

Yeah, Mikko is awesome is awesome! at first I hate him because I tough Apocalyptica was better without drums... but the I fell in love with his talent and his personality! He is just amazing...and now he is just perfect for the band
The fist time I heard Apocalyptica I was watching a music chanel from Mexico...and the guy put a video from Apocalyptica and it was Harmageddon, I loved the music instantly but the video scared me ( It was 4 years ago and I wasn used to rock and that kind of things). Then my sister (who loved them too) buy the DVD of the Cult tour and the first video I saw from it was Path....I just fell in love with Apocalyptica and now they are my favorite band!

One, It was a concert I really didn't want to go to, cause my Mom's a big fan so that was the first one I heard ever.

That's really cool that your Mom's into them.
I took my mom to see them the first time I went because she's a cellist too, but she wasn't so keen because she's not into heavy music any more.

my first song was "Fade to Black" my brother told me to listen to them cuz im a huge fan of Metallica and once i heard Apocalyptica i fell in love with them and how they could play such a classical instrument in such ways <3 they gained my love and respect to them as a musician and a loving fan :]

The first song that I heard from them was "Quutamo," since my brother was playing it out loud on the computer. For some reason, he wouldn't tell me who it was played by or what the song was, so I had to walk by the computer a few times before I could see the song and artist name... stare
