I put this in the Anthony Rapp Guild, too. I don't want you guys to be biased, by the way... BUT; my mom says I have to choose between going to go to RENT and going to Anthony Rapp's book-signing. emo
So, a little guidance would help.

Do you live near or in NYC? Because if you did, then I would go to the book-signing. But if you live in a place where Rent only comes as a tour... then I would go see it. Because as amazing as Anthony Rapp is, going to see Rent would be something you'll remember forever... well, you would remember meeting Anthony Rapp forever too.... uhm...

RENT will most likely be there again; Anthony might not. :3

That is sad u.u Quote: RENT will most likely be there again; Anthony might not. :3 I agree: if you REALLY love Anthony, then choose him. Seeing RENT is easier than meeting Anthony. And what about if you earn points to go to both places? You know, be perfect for some days and all the things that the parents love. Or search family or friends who can go with you and you can say: "They invited me, I have to go". sweatdrop

I think RENT is gonna be my choice; My mom doesn't want me to see Anthony. emo Just because we have to drive 3 hours. ACTUALLY: my mom has decided for me.

I would have chosen to see Anthony. But RENT is just as good!

Okay, in the long run, the book signing would be better but my choice is RENT. You can cherish the signature later, you could sell the signed book later to get yourself out of your bohemian flat, and you get to meet THE Anthony. (plus, I haven't read the book yet O.o). All I can do is give my opinion and now you have it.

would you be seeing the tour or the Broadway version? I just saw the broadway one and it was really good, if you look into it though, i guerentee you there are tickets out there for fifty $ or less. Maybe you could do both. Good luck.

I would go see Anthony. You can see the show some other time. I'd want to meet Anthony for a minute rather than just watch him for two hours.

i think i'd rather see RENT because you might not even get to meet/talk to him for that long if you went to the book signing... but i could be wrong!!!! that's a hard discision (i think i spelled that wrong. sad )
