She had seen a squirrel. A tiny little thing all chittering and frolicking and the dim witted wolf had felt the urge to play. Sandrina truly wasn't the smartest in the land, but that was no matter. For what she lacked in intellegence she made up for it in her good spirit. The occupation she held within the pack was right for her. She enjoyed making others feel good and in her mind there was nothing better then seeing the joy on anothers maw after a good...

well in any case Sandrina loved her job. The job as courtesan also allowed her to have ample time to herself. Which she spent most of it with her other wolven friends or sunny days like today when the world was at her paws and she only wanted to play. She inhaled sharply, tail wagging to and fro as she chased after the squirrel, giggling and laughing as she did. If she had any good sense she would have realized that her alpha had been watching her the whole time, emerald eyes glued to the lesser wolf as she sensed someone approaching them both.

User ImageSikittok sighed softly as he padded through the trees, he had been wandering for a while now and with no real purpose. He just felt restless and whenever he got close to settling down and staying in one place, the urge to get up and move on again hit him, and so he would go. He had been living like this for a while now and it was starting to tire him, it was hard to find joy when you were constantly searching for something unknown. He was sure that was what it was, in each place that he almost settled at he had thought he found whatever it was that made a place home but....soon enough he would realize that the mysterious thing wasn't there.

He thought back to his old pack and how he had felt there. That train of thought brought a smile to his maw, he had been part of a large pack that still was able to remain close to one another. That was until there was an outbreak of disease and most of the pack died off. It was nature's way of stopping the wolves from becoming too numerous and hunting themselves into starvation.

After the disease epidemic Siki had left, both his parents and his sister had been killed and so he had no reason to stay. The place and wolves there only reminded him of his departed family. It was from then on that he had been searching for another pack to join so that he could call another place home once more. In the beginning he had been optimistic, expecting to find some place fairly quickly. After all, Siki was normally a high-spirited, intelligent, and cunning wolf and he couldn't see why a pack wouldn't gladly welcome him. After a couple months though he found out that it wasn't the packs who weren't accepting him, it was he who was being picky about what pack he joined. He couldn't help it, he was stubborn and he didn't want to be miserable because he joined a pack that he couldn't feel at home with.

The dusky blue wolf's thoughts came full circle as he entered the clearing still searching even after all those months. He began to give his pelt a shake but stopped mid-motion catching the scent of one- no two females. Turning his head slowly he lifted towards the wind scenting the air again. Yes, he definitely could smell two distinct female auras. Without even thinking his tail lifted into the air, running parallel to the ground and in line with his back. Even if he was a lone wolf now, in his old pack he had been a beta and he was too prideful to demote himself and act submissively.

Looking around his dark eyes locked onto the darkly coloured female that was chasing after a squirrel. He couldn't help but chuckle at her antics, it was good to see that some wolves could still have fun. Stepping forwards he decided to approach this female, although he didn't forget that there was another one about somewhere. He didn't fancy being snuck up on.

His tail waved through the air a bit, almost looking like a banner, as he approached the female, stopping only when he was fully in view. "'Ello there." He smiled at the femme wanting to show her he was friendly enough and that he wasn't planning on attacking her.

At first Sandrina thought it was the squirrel who had spoken to her. So she dipped her maw down and eyed it suspicously before realizing it was not the squirrel who was talking, it was another wolf standing nearby.

"Oh!" she said suddenly, as if rerealizing he was there after seeing him the first time. "Hello....uhm....hi," she said again stupidly, letting a wide grin stretch across her maw. She looked him up and down and openingly, she didn't think she had seen him around before.

"New?"

The dusky blue wolf watched the femme inspect the squirrel and he couldn't help but chuckle, the sound deep and strong. Once the other wolf figured out that it wasn't the squirrel talking and it was actually him he smiled slightly. "Hello..." His smile had became amused and there was a small twinkle in his eye. The pneumatic wolf reminded him very much of his younger sister, this thought made him frown for a moment. Quickly he pushed the bad thoughts away, his family was dead and he had to move on from that, dwelling about it wouldn't do much now.

Hearing her question he nodded, "New to these lands, yes." He sat down, his tail curling around his haunches. The wolf studied the younger (he assumed) femme in front of him and his smile grew slightly. Although she was similar in personality to his sister, this wolf's mottled pelt was much different than his sisters sky blue one. He had to admit that the dark browns and blacks were intriguing to him.

"Oh goody," Sandrina said, as slow in her ways as ever. "We've had lots of new people around here lately, which is really good since mo- I mean...Lilith really is looking for more people to join our pack. Are you interested? You look the part...we like them big and strong here, especially when it comes to..."

"Sandrina..." Came the voice from the shadows.

The mottled wolf turned her head just as the alpha, Lilith approached. She looked from one then to the other before finally dipping her head down to the newcomer in a bow.

"Sorry about that," she said, "I'm sure what Sandrina meant to say was...welcome to our home."

Siki smiled amused as Sandrina rambled on. The tail end of her words made him arch a brow, interested in what she might have said. It seemed he would never find out since another voice cut her off. Glancing around the male sniffed the air and caught the scent of another female.

His head turned as he spotted movement, watching the femme step out of the shadows he gave her a good once over. By the way she held herself he could tell that she was the alpha. Accordingly he lowered his head slightly not wanting to cause a confrontation.

"I thank you," He smiled once more looking between the females. "And it is a very lovely home that you have."

Lilith dipped her head in equal respect, showing that she was not as dominating and overbearing as some alphas tended to be. No, her words were warm and welcoming, putting forth all the world had to over upon first meeting. It was only until push came to shove that Lilith showed her manipulative and controlling side. But, if one ever reached that point they might as well give up now.

"Thank you, it is a lovely place." she said, honestly.

They had lucked out in finding a place like this. Of course she would have hoped for more a little bit more watersource, but one should not be too picky when it came to matters such as these.

"Sandrina, why don't you check on Tabansi," she said, nodding to the younger wolf.

The dimwitted one was about to protest when she saw the look her mother was giving her. The look that clearly said 'go now'.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh," Sandrina replied before she padded off.

"So, what brings you to these parts?" Lilith asked, once Sandrina was out of earshot.

Siki could tell already that he was going to like this place, Lilith didn't seem nearly as headstrong and demanding as many alpha's he had encountered. His tail twitched against his paws and his smile grew as she thanked him.

"You're quite welcome," he glanced around the clearing once more before his gaze made its way back to the alpha. He watched as she dismissed the other femme, he was a bit sad to see her go but then he had a good feeling that the alpha wanted to speak to him about something important.

Finding no reason to lie Siki explained how his old pack had been ravaged by disease and how he was one of the last of the wolves that had been left healthy. "And so I decided to travel, looking for a place to settle, and another pack that I could call family." Deciding to go out on a limb he looked at the femme with a smile. "I have a feeling that this pack may be the one that I have been looking for."

Lilith listened as he talked, nodding here and there in understanding and to show that she indeed was full ears. Once she had finished his tale she let a slow but sure smile cross over her maw.

"Perhaps our feelings match," she said, grin still plastered across her features. "I am need of strong males, strong of heart and body. Our general is great, she is good at what she does..but what is a general without an army?"

Whisking her tail to and fro she answered her own question, "It is nothing. Are you strong of heart and body? Could you use fang and claw to protect everything you love?"

After he was done with his story Siki was quiet, waiting for the alpha's response. When he heard it a smile began to form on his maw, it did seem like their feelings matched. He listened to her words quietly, not so over eager as to jump in and interrupt her with an oath of loyalty like some younger, foolish males would.

When he was sure she was finished his smile became a grin, knowing he had finally found what he had been looking for. "Yes, I am and I would have if the disease was something I could have physically fought. This time around...well I'm hoping for something I can really sink my teeth into." He smirked his canines flashing.

"A fine warrior you will be," she promised, with a decisive headnod. "Welcome to Gomorrah. This pack will treat you as any home would, there are plenty of courtesans to fufill any good warrior's....needs," she added with a clear hint. "I hope you will like it here."

"Should you ever need anything all you must do is ask," she said, lifting her head back and letting out a long loud howl to demonstrate the pack call. "A member will come running. If you need me directly..." she once more gave off another howl, this time slightly different.

With that explained she gave one more headnod, this time nodding off towards the lands around her. "Choose any free den you'd like." With that she smiled at the male and sidestepped around him, leaving him to settle into his new home.
