Joey Mercury has been released from WWE. They are saying backstage that it was because they suspended him for a long time during the summer because he failed a drug test and when he came back he's still trying to fight his drug use. WWE is still open to signing him when he finally recovers. You're thoughts?

Honestly, I think they just brought him back because they felt
sorry for him. It didn't seem like he was going to be around when
he came back the frist time, and then when he got the injury they
decided to give him a second chance. He's not a bad wrestler, it's
just that the WWE doesn't know what to do with have the guys they have.

I think that part of the reason they brought him back was because they felt sorry for him. But he isn't much with out being in MNM and if Nitro and him don't tag team then he didn't seem to see much time. So I don't think that it is very likely that they'll bring him back even if he does recover.

I applaud Vince for holding tight with his no drug policy. It might toss out some wrestlers, but it's really helping ensure the safety of his talent.
I won't miss Mercury... I don't feel bad for people that pick drugs over MEGA bucks careers.

i feel sorry for the guy.i mean,if you get suspened from your job and sent to rehab for your depency to painkillers,the last thing you want to happen is gettin your face absolutely destroyed by a ladder (even if it was kinda cool). hope he gets better and back soon

Joey is a whiner and he does not deserve a chance to come back he wants something for nothing everytime he wrestles Nitro has to come and save him or he cries, he reminds me of christian when he was in the wwe. I am not a fan of someone who doesn't work for what he has

good ridance to bad rubish- You know untill resently i din't know that nitro was the last tough enough winner. He Sure could kick mavens a**!!....What ever happened to maven anyway?

See, now i actually liked Maven. I thought he was pretty good in the ring, and he had the charisma to work the crowd.
