Kyou gave him a confused look. "Yes, everything's fine." he whispered. The only thing that worried him at that moment was the smell of blood and Hyde's sudden secretive attitude. He could hazard a guess as to what it was all about, but on the other hand he didn't want to think about it.

Kyou tensed as he found himself in the other man's arms. He may have grown in confidence lately, but this was a little too much to handle. He soon made himself relax, this was a really really bad time to freak out about something so trivial, and he slowly raised his own arms to rest on Hyde's shoulders.
"That's what I was most afraid of." he whispered darkly.

Kyou stayed as he was for a little while, gently rubbing Hyde's back in silence. Eventually he let go and backed away a little so he could see Hyde's face.
"Of course I forgive you." he said soothingly, taking the other man's hand "I don't particularly agree with what you're doing," he slowly slid off one striped arm warmer revealing the stained bandages underneath "But we all have our own ways of dealing with pain." he finished and kissed the other's pale arm softly.

Kyou nodded. Humans had a weird habit of wanting to solve each others problems and getting it totally wrong. He did really mind though, but he was too used to ignoring his problems and burrying his head in the sand to really thing about solving them now. His heart lurched uncomfortably at the though of Hyde's pain. It was something he never wanted to see again, all he wanted to do at that moment was make the young elf happy.

Kyou smiled, no one had ever kissed him before. Well, maybe his mother had, but she had died when he was a baby, so he did not remember. The thought sadened him a little, but he had been bearing it all his life and it was a familiar pain. Maybe his father would have liked him better if his mother was still with them.
The garden was beautiful, even at night when the moon was at it's highest, and he was glad that he could share it with his friend.

Kyou nodded in agreement. It felt wonderful to be able to show Hyde this side to himself, even if it was one that had been hidden in the past for so long with his bittersweet memories of childhood. It overjoyed him to know that Hyde appeared to understand it as well and had shared secrets of his own. Those secrets were far from pleasant ones though, and the Seelie had been shocked to find that his friend was not as strong as he had once believed. But in some ways he found the elf's attempts to hide it quite endearing, as if he wasn't the only person who guarded his feelings. They may have come from completely different backgrounds but the two of them had a lot in common.
"I've always loved it here," he repeated "Probably because flowers don't judge you like Fae do. They just sit and listen."

"Yeah, that to." Kyou laughed softly then paused. "Thank you for coming here." he continued "It just hasn't been the same being at home and not seeing you and Chai and Sho every day at work. It may sound stupid, but I enjoy working more than my time off. I just hope that father can see that and not send me anywhere else." It would be horrible if he had to leave his friends. His father had threatened to send him to heal for the Fae armies, healing magic was rare in that part of the underground and doctors could very easily work their way up in rank if they devoted their power to arms.
