Ok, so I went out and took a risk. I bought Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. However, I saw no version for the DS. At least not at this time. Perhaps a little later on.
Anyways, I put the game in and started it. The first thing you get to feast upon is the absolutely gorgeous opening movie. It's very well done and all the characters look very smooth, just like the Sonic and the Secret Rings mini-movie you could unlock (the final version).
Secondly, this game definitely gives your arms a workout. You do a lot of events, and they range from running (which makes you shake the remote and nunchuk or just the remote) as fast as you can to events like archery (which is more challenging than it leads on to be), skeet (like WiiPlay's shooting game, only much more skill is needed), and even table tennis which is much like WiiPlay's,but it also more complicated and has a little variety to how it goes.
I give this game a rating of..... 9/10. My only found faults are the fact it tells you to take a break and it takes forever before you can click it off the screen, and when you get a new trophy or unlocks, that too takes forever before you can click it away. Still, it's a great game with innovative things involved and integrated into it, and while not everyone will like every single event, it's worth at least trying it out. It may be a game more for parties, but I feel it's one of the strongest Wii party titles out to date.
