The sun was bright as the little Tian Tang wolf pup trotted through unclaimed lands. She had been out that morning and met another wolf, and was now heading home, hoping to get back before her parents started to worry too much, though Vashti knew they knew she was clever and careful, and wouldn't get herself into unnecessary danger. As she made her way through the tall grass, Vashti yipped and grumbled happily to herself, making the forms of the wolfsong, though not as loudly. She didn't want to startle any wolves into attacking her, so she remained quiet.
Nose to the ground, she picked up the trail she had made earlier, but as she followed it, she found two more scents, one a female wolf scent, the other male though both were very similar, which reminded Vashi of her own scent and that of her brothers. Sniffing at it, Vashti made the decision to follow the scents, see where they took her. Pups were safer then adults, that much she knew, and she wanted to make new friends! Weaving off to the side, Vashti started the arduous task of following the pups' scent, eyes up, watching for indications they were close.
