I've been itching to expand my style a bit, and I've been wondering if anyone could recommend some good bands/ artists I could listen to...
Namely, some reggae, ska, jazz, metal, classic rock, and blues.
Thanks :'D

If you don't already, I suggest you start listening to some Beatles stuff. I know it's the obvious choice, but hearing "A Day in the Life" for the first time really changed my life.
It's sad, I know. >_>;
If you want some good, guitar-driven stuff, Lynyrd Skynyrd is always a good choice.

I'd suggest:
Metal Guitar: DragonForce Ska: Reel Big Fish Rock: Hinder Other: Fall of Troy has really good guitar parts...
Also, if you think you are up to it, listen to some Michael Angelo Batio. smile
