"I am no cad!" Lior said rather loudly, though he hardly looked offended - rather he was amused, eyes alight and a chuckle escaping him. "I just don't talk about my friends to other friends, because when I'm with friends, I am focused on that friend and that friend only." He nodded solemnly, purring loudly.

"I say he's simply making excuses, and wants to keep all his gorgeous friends to himself," Cash said with a conspiratorial wink in Aysel's direction. He turned to Lior then, and put on a mock expression of hurt. "I see how it is, Lior. Just keep me all to yourself, so I can't fall in love with anyone else."

Else? Aysel raised a brow, but then shrugged slightly to herself. It wasn't her business. However..."I'm hardly gorgeous," Aysel pointed out to Cash with a grin, "And I fear that should you fall in love with me I'd have no choice but to break your heart." She laughed then, ruffling both boys' hair, before it struck her that perhaps this guesture was too familiar for one she'd just met. She smiled sheepishly, murmuring a soft apology to Cashimer.

"Well, perhaps not you specifically," Cash said with earnest, his grin becoming a little more genuine at the ruffle of his hair. It was easy enough to relax just a bit, when he had Lior around, who, Cash felt, knew him rather well. So if Lior like this girl so much, if Antigone could be so in love with her, then it was a safe bet that perhaps Aysel wouldn't hate him.
