Does anyone remember that movie, with Alexa Vega (SpyKids) that came out a few years ago? Well, out of sheer boredom, and the urge to laugh at high school girly-girl drama, I decided to watch it when it was on ABC Family tonight.... and much to my surprise, during the school dance scene, WHAM! I'm hit with a Boingo classic. The band (in the movie) play a mean modern version of "We Close Our Eyes" as the slow-dance song. They only have about a quarter of the song in the movie, but it was well worth it.

It's a beautiful thing to know that Boingo is still subtley alive in the world, even if it IS in movies about high school girly-girl drama. blaugh heart
