I bought this song “You’re Lost Little Girl” on itunes from the Paris Kills album. It’s the bonus track, and when I first listened to it, it just didn’t sound like the 69 eyes style, old or new. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the song, but it just doesn’t sound like something they would write. Is this a cover of some band, or are my ears just a bit off???

oh I remember that song a bit, I think it was a bonus track off of the Dance d amour or crashing high single
(i forget which one ><)

I just bought the newer version of "wrap your troubles in dreams" and I didn't like it. The original version is by far my favorite song by them, but I really don't like the newer version ><

actually when first heard the origional version to "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams", i couldn't, wouldn't believe that it was them, just because Jyrki's voice sounded different. Bazie, Timo-Timo, Archzie, and Jussi sounded the same, but i just couldnt get over the fact that Jyrki sounded different. So that one had to take a while getting used to. But know i ADORE it! it just sounds so much Dirtier then the newer one. Like the newer one sounds like if your in trouble don't worry, and don't be sad just "wrap your troubles in dreams. It aint that hard it seems" like the song says. but the way Jyrki sings in the origional one just sounds so Raunchy! heart xp

His voice doesn't sound that different compared with the older albums they did then.
Oh, "you're lost little girl" is originally by The Doors. smile

Yeah, I figured it was a cover. Doesn't sound like anything they would write. And the newer albulms and the older albums have two distinctly different vocal styles for Jyrki. Its kind of hard for me to get over. Like I hate the older stuff, and I don't want to, but I can't get over the voice. I just hate that falsetto-y sound. I do like the vocal style on Angels though. I thinks its a nice medium between the gothic low voice and the natural rocker. I love the albulm in general though...

I don't think it's him singing in The New York Dolls cover of Vietnamese Baby, for some reason I think it's Archzie singing a lot in it.
