Well you can post stories you have written on your own in the Story Time forum.
Song Lyrics are welcome in their very own forum, the Song Lyrics forum.
And any form of art, short stories based off dreams, or just odd pieces of writing or what ever can go into the Dream Portal forum.
Also, you can now RP in the Poetry RP forum using poetic styles instead of paragraphs.

Most of my works contain some mature material. Am I to expect my poetry to be banned because of this? If so, I'll be sure not to post what others has perceived to be explicit poetry. However, isn't poetry an interpretable creative writing? Therefore, what I've written could mean anything based on your personal view.

Sorry it took so long to reply, NO you will not be banned. I believe writing is a type of art and art is a way of expression. Why get in trouble for expressing yourself?

Yeah I am just worried of someone taking my poetry as their own. I have a good one on love but I don't want someone taking it.

If you're really worried about it, you can always protect it under a creative commons license. (you can google it, if you're not familiar with Creative Commons licenses & you can get one for free) That's what I usually do with my songs. And if you do that just let everyone know it's protected under that at the end of your poem. Kind of like this:
This poem is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative 3.0 License. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/us/
Oh and when choosing a license for a poem you can always use other for its category. I hope that helped and I look forward to reading your poetry if you decide to share it! smile
