I have a problem; I have this friend called Phillip*, he broke up with his girlfriend Karla* a few months ago and he was with her for a year. I met him on holiday last year and only recently has he told me that he liked me when we were on holiday and ever since, I met up with him a week ago for the first time since holiday and online we spoke about what it was like and he started telling me he had feelings for me and that he wanted to kiss me. I like him and everything and he keeps talking about if we should go out but then he goes on about the bad things. Then, last Tuesday when we met up, we kissed and it changed everything. Now most of what we talk about revolves around this idea of us liking each other, but now Phillip is worried that he might only like me cause his break up with Karla and he doesn't want to hurt me if this is the case. Also, if it's not and we do decide to do something about it, either of us doesn't know what we want in a relationship because we don't wanna be pinned down or alone either. Plus, Karla isn't really happy with Phillip about liking me when he was going out with her and doesn't like me at all now. What should I do?
