As long as they weren't falling('cause falling Cherry Blossoms symbolize death, I'd think I'd be fine, Sakura Gumi had better outfits in my opinion...

Hmm... It's a hard one for me.
When I first started listening to the Gumi songs, I liked Sakura Gumi better. It had Yoshizawa and Kago, and their songs really appealed to me. I joined a Sakura Mankai groupdub as Yoshizawa and all that fun...
But when you listen to a certain song a lot, it gets old fast. xD
At first I HATED Otome Gumi (especially Ai no Sono) but it began to grow on me. I got tired of the Sakura Gumi songs quickly, so Otome Gumi came to fill the gap.
At the moment, Yuujou is still one of my favorite songs. I joined another groupdub (Otome Gumi this time) as Kaori. It's fun. =3
Yeah, so I think I like them equally. Yossie and Aibon in are one, and Rika and Kaori are in the other... I'm torn between my favorite members. xD

i have to say Sakura Gumi cuz it had all my favourite meber like Kamei Eri, Ai Kago, Mari yaguchi, takahashi Ai, and Yoshizawa Hitomi biggrin

Otome Gumi is a fun group to listen to, but Sakura Gumi is very beautiful to listen to.

Obviously Sakura Gumi were awesome as they had Kago/Mari/Yossie.....However....What about 'Yuujou' the oi oi version by Otome Gumi??? That is awesome!!!And Nono was there!! But Sakura Mankai is a beautiful song. In fairness I think both subgroups were good for different reasons...

yep, bottomline is the difference in everything is so much that i can't even begin comparing them. but anyone will definitely have a preference. i prefer sakura gumi but that doesn't mean they're better. i love the tempo and drum n bass in otome gumi though, a whole lot more than sakura's for that matter.
