This story came from a Quartz crystal I was holding in my hands during a meditation.
It started as a bright sunny day. A rose quartz relaxing amoung the exposed roots of a tree in a small park, enjoying the sun and the company of the tree.
3 boys on their bicycles ride into the park and start playing when one of them notices the crystal and goes over to pick it up. He holds the crystal in his hands looked at how it shines in the light then takes it over to show his friends. They all marvel at the crystal for a moment, then suddenly they start throwing the crystal to each other, and kicking it around like a soccer ball.
The crystal was in a panic. It tried to roll away, but the boys would find it and continue their rough treatment of the crystal. But just as the crystal was about to loose hope of finding safety, it heard the pond beconing to the crystal to come into the water and hide from the boys. The moment the crystal got the chance, it rolled into the water and sank itself deep into the muddy bottom. The crystal watched as the boys made attempts to find the crystal, their arms blindly reaching into the mud, but they did not find the crystal. Eventually, the boys gave up and left the area.
Eventually, the crystal came out of hiding in the mud and noticed that it had many chips and cracks from the awful treatment and the sun did not shine so easily into the pond. But the crystal was scared to leave the water in case the boys were close by. The fish did what they could to help the crystal adjust to life in the water. They used mud and pebbles to help fill in the cracks, chips and other damage the boys had done to the crystal. The crystal appreciated the efforts, but it missed the sun and was lonely for the tree. And the crystal knew that the only way it could be truely happy was to go back to the surface. But wasn't sure how to get out of the pond.
A lilly Pad heard about how sad the crystal was and offered to give the crystal a boost. At first crystal was scared, but the Lilly pad said that the crystal would always be welcome to come back to the pond if there was any more trouble. And Crystal agreed it was time to go home. So the Lilly grew another stem and leaf that the crystal was able to ride back to the surface on and slowly the crystal rolled onto the shore. It thanked its friends in the water, and cautiously made its way back to the tree. Occasionally, the crystal would find one of its missing peices and brought them with it back to the tree. Then settled once again within the roots and felt the sun warm its face. The tree was glad to see the crystal again and commented that the crystal seemed to be sparkling more than before. And it made the crystal feel good and happy to be home.

I enjoyed this, Thyna. Thank you. It actually gives me some hope that I, myself, will be able to endure this time of hardships. At the moment, I feel very much like that crystal.
Thank you! heart

Glad you liked it heart
It has a special place in my own heart.
When this story was told to me I was working up the courage to get out of my own pond. And this was the crystals way of saying everything would be ok. And it was right 3nodding

That really is a nice story. It would be cool if you turned it into a picture book, heh. I feel like I can connect to the little crystal a bit as well. Thanks for sharing!

The story doesn't have the amount of detail and emotion as the meditations it came from did. But I guess it might work as a movie smile
