I'm hoping that wasn't a personal shot at Pyro... No I don't. And it wasn't. Isn't he a furry? He is. And you do, because technically, humans are animals. At any rate, the whole, furries wanting to have sex with animals, was discussed in great detail in the debate thread, where Pyro said repeatedly that he does not want to have sex with animals.

...furry=sex with animals about as much as pro-choice=hate babies.
In other words. yes, there are some furries who do like beastiality or zoophilia or what ever they're calling it these days, but it does not mean all furries do.
This whole misconception was brought on by a biased issue of Vauge magazine in which they were interviewing a couple who enjoyed sex with their animals, and it just so happend they were furries. The fact that they were furries was stressed to the point were the article pretty much said "this is how all furries act"
Quite frankly, my self and quite a few others like me are and would be insulted if some one said "well, he's a furry, right?" implying that we have sex with animals. I didn't take it as an attack, simply because such an implication is ignorance at it's finest. But, I did take it personaly.

Personally, I thought it was just supposed to be a joke; Not that he actually thought you had bestial tendencies. The fact that you like to think of yourself and your girlfriend in terms of animals or anthropomorphs only makes it that much more of a "wink wink, nudge nudge" joke.
But then I'm not Peer, I couldn't say for sure; I just don't want us to be getting all angry or offended over nothing.

Actualy, we dont. That falls too close to whats called "life style" furdom. We're not life stylers. What we beleive is that we both have animals that best represent us. Her's being a panda, mine being a tiger. Besides, I wouldnt want to be an anthro. There would be too many political and health issues.

You represent yourselves with animals. And I believe that the art you posted of hers was anthro, wasn't it? That's why I said animals or anthropomorphs; I wasn't sure which.

Well, you said that my and my mate like to think of our selves in terms of animals. We dont actualy, we like to compare our selves and represent our selves in the community, but we really dont think of our selves in the terms of actualy being those animals. The best way to describe it...think of Role Play, like mucks or DnD. We will some times pretend and act like those animals anthropomorphisised, but we dont think of our selves as those animals. Is that a bit clearer? sweatdrop

In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm just teasing you. I wouldn't but I got bored and I can't block you so...Cute, yet offensive. Look, I find it offensive, all right? Please stop. Teasing or not its a part of the furry culture that has been unwillingly smeared all over us thanks to a biased magazine artical that became an instant internet sensation, and its a very touchy subject for us since it is now perpetuated by many diffrent facets of media and entertainment that have actualy done little to know research into what furries are. Not every Star Wars fan goes gaga over an appearence of the 501st at a comic/sci-fi/star wars convention, or wants to dress up as a storm trooper or princess leaigh. Not every Star Trek fan is a pimple faced, broken glass wearing, asma infected nerd who day dreams about green skinned female aliens. Not every furry wants to have sex with animals. Again, I'll ask you nicely to stop. I do find it highly offensive, but I'm not gunna fly off the handel like others have over somethign they find offensive, and completly throw the concerns, intentions, and feelings of others out the window just to get a point across.
