So my house is haunted. No really, it is. ...
I find it odd sometimes telling people that because they either think I'm kidding and laugh, or think I'm weird and either try to change the subject, or just stop talking to me altogether.
But I know I'm not the only person who believes in supernatural activity, or in ghosts in general. I've been living with this one for some years now. I'm in the same building I grew up in - even though I'm in a different apartment - and strange things still happen all the time.
So why is it that people always react so strangely? Do you believe in the supernatural? Life after death? Hauntings? Ever had something weird and seemingly unnatural happen to you?

Hm. I don't know what to believe about ghosts. I mean, I've never had anything that falls under the supernatural happen to me, but that doesn't mean it's not out there and doesn't happen.
My view I suppose is that almost anything is possible and we shouldn't automatically rule something out just because it goes unseen. I find ghost stories very interesting and always like reading them. Even the ones that aren't supposed to be scary.

You should get TAPS to investigate your house. I'd like to see you on my teevee.
I totally believe in ghosts and hauntings. I've never experienced anything weird though.

Oh I get weird stuff all the time.
When I was a kid, there was a ghost in my room. He always walked in the door, and right through my room. Right through the opposite wall, into the building next door. We're like, brownstone-style, so the buildings share walls and such. But I think they used to be connected, though.
The bad part was that my bed was opposite the door, so he'd walk right through me!! D:

Ooohhh creeeepy... I love a good ghost story.
I've had some weird things happen to me before, but I think it might've been my mind playing tricks on me...or maybe not... >>

This isn't exactly a ghost story, but it's weird nonetheless.
M'kay, so, at the house that I lived in when I was around the age of two, I shared a room with one of my sisters, and my other two sisters shared a room. Well, one night we all had the BRILLIANT idea to all sleep in the same room. So, the four of us piled onto the bunk bed. I had to be on top because two of my sisters were too lazy to climb the ladder thing. My other sister wanted to be next to the wall, and there was no bar on the side of the bed. For a two year old, that is -dangerous-. Well, we all got to sleep and nothing eventful happened. There was this dresser next to the bed, and sometime in the middle of the night, my oldest sister ((who was on the bottom bunk)) woke up and felt someone tugging at her arm. Whatever it was ((she didn't see anything)) put her arm on the dresser next to her. Not even a second later, I fell onto her arm and rolled onto the bottom bunk. True story. It still creeps me out, but it feels good to know that someone somewhere cares about me and keeps me safe. :]

Well, I never really 'experienced' something like that, I only heard about them. I do believe in them, in fact, I tried not to, because I already have enough things to worry about in my life, I have no time for things like that, I'll be happier if I think they don't exist. 3nodding
