Heya!
I recently found a quest in Barrens, warlock one mind you, and I was wondering which staff was better, the one I have right now or the quest reward.
Staff of San'ruk or Odo's Ley Staff?

San'ruk; spirit is the least useful casting stat for warlocks.
Prioritize stamina, int, and +shadow damage/+damage while leveling.

Pretty much anything except a dried up dog turd > Odo's Ley Staff.
If you really want a new weapon, go get the Cresent Staff from the short WC quest chain. Or, wait four levels & get the ever-popular Illusion Staff.

And Fahsky, I'll totally be getting the Illusion Staff. =D Hehe, I think it's pretty much a must for any damage-caster till at least 46 - then, I say the staff from ZF is worth trying for. X3

Odo's Ley Staff = for priests. See if you can ninja your way into a Blackfathom Deeps run and get the Staff of the Sleepwalker to use until you get the Illusion Staff if you're desperate for a blue upgrade. Kinda have to be careful getting over there since it's more towards the Night Elf territory side, but there's a Horde flight point south of the dungeon just along the coast.... I forget it's name. sweatdrop

Psht, hell if I've EVER seen a purpley around BFD. They ignore it or something.
So meh, dont worry about it. BFD is actually not a bad instance.

X3 I went with Illusion Staff on my Druid till 49, then got a Soulkeepeer. Didn't even know about the ZF staff sweatdrop

Odo's just plain sucks a**. The Soran'ruk is better because the other one may have stamina, but not enough. Damage is the way to go on that choice.

the one you have atm is better you don't need spirit as a lock. (btw i have a 70 lock) razz
