In harry potter....fred and george were blond. Yep, they each had spikey blond hair and slightly rosey cheeks. thats the only discrepency though.
The odd thing is though....I have no clue why they're blond to me!!!!
oh wait yeah, mad eye moody hadd a bright blue eye for me too, and he sortof had an indian build ( the whole cleche tall lean guy with longish hair - well his' was white- and a stout and mean face)
and thats alli can think of for now, anyone else experience something along those lines? ( specifically for harry potter but other books too)

Eragon always struck me as fair, with brown hair and dark eyes, sort of sullen-looking btu with bright eyes.
Brom struck me as an old dude with a cane whose back unbent every once in a while, with a beard and such.
Harry looked exactly like Daniel Radcliffe to me. Malfoy was a little smaller in my imagination, Hermione was cuter, and Ron had hands bigger than his face.
snape had less girly hair.
Mad-eye moody was grayer, more aged, and less portly. Cornelius Fudge was fatter. HAgrid was the same. TOm the barkeeper looked COMPLETELY different, as did Ernie and Stan Shunpike.
And so on and so forth...

And so on and so forth... remind me again who were ernie and stan shunpike? but hermoine looked exactly like that in my immagination ( how could she be cute then the actress who played her??) snape actually looked like that to me before the movie, and cornelius fudge looked like a twenties business man ( or a bit like the guy who played the dude who owned all the hotels in ocean's eleven except with greyer hair) I dont have much of an immage for crouch or his son and malfoy always struck me as that size and about that apearal. tom the barkeep was just an old guy with an apron on to me.

And so on and so forth... oh and btw i was talking about extremes and in face of the movie and the book's descriptions. for instance the weasly twins, even though the weasly family was clearly said to have characteristic red hair and freckles my fred and george have pale white skin ( freckless that is) rosey cheeks and blond hair also now that i think about it, their dad has brown hair. oh and my dinning hall looked WAY better then the movies. odly though my grounds were much flatter then those in the movie and i couldnt always see the lake.

Dumbledore was cooler. cool My Crabe and Goyle had premature mustaches and liked potato chips with more than a normal passion, and Ginny talked more.

Hmm. Snape was a lot more wicked looking in my mind's eye, and Draco was a lot more like the current look than the old one in my mind's eye. Other than that, everything seems about the same...OH! and Voldemort was a lot creepier looking as a face on the back of someone's head and a lot prettier as a person in my brain.

Speaking of Harry Potter, did anyone else see the cover art for the book in the newspaper this morning? Maaan, that sparked my inner-Potter fanism all over again. Can't wait for that book.
