Something just doesn't go right? for the fifteenth time? people keep bothering you when you're trying to concentrate? when your upset?
i figured this might be a good thread to have around. you can post your "i hate it when" or comment on others.
here's mine, to get things rolling:
i work with Tarot cards a little (i'm not that experienced, but i have gotten into them a bit so they actually work most of the time). the other night, i was trying to see if i should be angry about a certain situation, if i should do anything about it, if i should do this, do that, etc.
every time i got cards that basically said "your question cannot be answered at this time" surely ONE of my questions can be answered at this time, come on now!
wtf, i may as well have been using a magic 8 ball!

I have two "Just hate it when..." things...
1. When you need to talk to afriend about psychic matters and all you really ever have in talking time is in a crowded area where you don't want people to know, and telepathy may be unreliable?
2. When you run into a particularly power-hungry psi-vamp who it's insanely challenging to shield back from and the psi-vamp doesn't know they're draining your energy? (ESPECIALLY if this psi-vamp used to be a good friend who got backstabbing and... strange... over the past 6 months or so... yeah, that happened.)

Seconded on the 'talking about things' front, Gatta. And added that I hate it when people I love just don't get it when I'm trying to explain how I feel.
Also, I hate them trying to tell me how I feel just because they're empathic- Good on you, you have a gift, but it doesn't mean you know everything >.<
And I hate it when 'people' (because they aren't really people) are teaching you things and you don't necessarily want to learn it because you have enough to be getting on with thankyouverymuch but you need to know it RIGHT NOW regardless.
I hate not having a choice in matters.

@Gatta: i'm with you on the psi-vamp thing. i hate it most when they're just regualr psi-vamps and they don't know it. i mean...surely they should figure it out somewhere along the line....
@lady: ouch....that's sort of happened to me, but i like to remind people because i don't remember other people's birthdays, so it wasn't really a big deal. but to some...it's a pretty big deal.
i've got another "i hate it when":
i hate it when people insult me by lying to me, not even bothering to come up with a good one. seriously, do they think i'm that stupid? <= that it how i veiw dumb lies like "sorry i hid that from you, please don't be angry because you're the one person i can tell things to." wtf.

...I hate it when I hear a lie from someone I know, I can tell it's a lie, and I say that they probably just lied, and they deny it, although I can TELL when they're lying.

Gatta Forte ...I hate it when I hear a lie from someone I know, I can tell it's a lie, and I say that they probably just lied, and they deny it, although I can TELL when they're lying. i hate lying in general. but seriously, if you're going to lie, at least make it believeable, at least make it a good one :/

I'll give you a gift! blaugh I hate it when your deep in concentration on something, and someone either comes in and you don't sense them and they scare the crap out of you. (only my boyfriend can do this to me. stare ) Or a loud noise jolts your whole system and the adrenaline messes with your energy flow for about a minute... Grr... stare
