:: Lyse drives down with her trident, but only hits dirt as the man rolls onto the ground away from her attack ::
:: She looks up and readies herself for another attack from the shuriken, but sees it not returning to him but towards the altar ::
"Crap!!!!"
:: In an instant, she flies towards the weapon and throws her own trident towards it to deflect it off it's course ::

Ritanya cursed under her breath... she still had the shield up, and didn't understand why Lyse had thrown away her weapon. She maintained the shield as she leapt forward, summoning forth a blade of pure light and bringing it at the man, trying to slice open his chest... though her skill was lacking any subtlety, as her mind was focused upon the shield.

Lyse's trident skillfully deflected the shuriken, sending it to the ground as Ritanya's light blade pierces the man's chest....killing him instantly. His blood puddled around him, upon the temple floor.

Breaking through the clouds, an intense lunar light shot down, surrounding the alter to which Cera was bound to. Soon, the ray of light widened, encircling the temple, as it cleaned away the man's carcass and blood, seemingly purify the area.
Cera's body was lifted slightly from the alter, as the man's blood started to swirl about her, and was soon infused within her. The woman's eyes opened, glowing brighter than before, seemingly matching that of the light that was surrounding the temple. Once the fusion was complete, the light disappeared.
The clouds were gone, and the glade looked as beautiful as it had on the first day of spring, and the temple glistened in the sunlight. Cera was laying peacefully upon the alter, asleep.

:: Gliding down from the sky she sets foot down near her weapon and bends to pick it up as she sighs a sigh of relief, as she kicks aside the shuriken ::
:: She turns her gaze at the puddle of blood on forming on the temple floor as she then looks to Ritanya just as a piercing light shines down. Lyse covers her eyes from the brightness as it fades away as quickly as it came ::
:: The gloominess she felt before is lifted as she turns towards the alter ::
"Is it over?"

Ritanya's blade disappeared as she watched Cera return to a serene state.
Yes... darkness has passed... she said as she looked around the glade. She walked over to Cera and lifted her up, as her eyes and voice returned to normal.
"Let's go home..." she said with a tired smile, indicating that Lyse should hold onto her as she teleported back.
