Considering MM was my first DDR experience and what I learned on...I quite enjoyed it. I grew up playing SMB, so I was familiar with most if not all of the songs ^^
I have one slightly painful memory though, and that would be the way my friend chose to wean me of the typical newbie habit of stepping back into the center. She pretty much screamed at me everytime I did it, and it scared the crap out of me so much because I was trying so hard to concentrate gonk How unnecessary. Nobody had to tell me that stepping in the middle was a bad habit. Once I reached 4's and 5's, it became common sense not to do it.
