The sounds of the crashing waves were all but a soft lullaby to the white lioness as she rested in the golden sand. Her tail twitched slightly before opening her eyes slowly. It didn't take Sevati too much time to adjust the bright sun before stretching the sleep from her form. A smile slowly settled on her form before eyes were wide with worry. Ravi was not right next to her! Raising herself from her resting position, where did he wander off to? Concern for the male, she went in search for him, hoping that he was nearby. He was always with her and so without him next to her side, it felt weird and slightly empty.

As the sun was just peeking over the horizon, the half-Firekin male had risen from his sleep to head out for a nice breakfast. Ravi wanted to surprise Sevi with a nice, fresh meal...a small meal to show how much he appreciates all she does for him. His golden eyes took in the scenery, still getting used to the golden sand and the blue water crashing upon it. The sand still brought some unwanted memories of the desert, but this was not the desert and he'd have to keep on remembering that.

The thought of leaving his sleeping white lioness made him miss her, but the smile that might come from his actions would make waking up so early worth it. His tail flicked slightly from side to side as he looked for something to catch. Not seeing any prey beasts around, he gathered he's have to try his paw at catching a fish. He made his way to the water and slowly walked in, getting used to the cool water.

For some reason, the white lioness felt slightly empty wandering the beach alone and without the familiar figure by her side. Sevati's lime green eyes scanned the beach, the crashing waves for any signs of her companion. She was worried, Ravi still had a slight limp and she didn't want anything to happen to him. Worry was evident in facial features as she searched for Ravi.

It took her a little bit of searching to pick up on his scent since it was masked by not only the salt of the sea but the scent of fish and other sea critters. Once she had picked up on his scent, she kept to it, following it. The scent got stronger as she picked up her pace, worried for Ravi. Then, just over the large sand dune, did she spot a familiar figure in the water. Relief washed over her as she saw that Ravi was alright, but she was curious as to what he was up to. She settled down on the golden sand with her paws resting in front of her. Her gaze settled on the male, but she remained quiet as she didn't want him to know she was here.

Unaware of his new onlooker, the half-Firekin male was halfway in the water, golden eyes searching for his prey. Silvery glitters could be seen from the water's surface as Ravi followed the fish. Muscles bunched up together as he started to stalk the fish. Keeping himself as quiet and still as possible, he wanted to catch some fish for Sevi as a surprise. As he got closer and closer to a school of fish, he waited silently before attempting to pounce on one.

But, before he could even pounce on one, a riptide had took away his grip to the sandy bottom as he tripped into the ocean with a big splash. That had scared away the school of fish he was trying to catch. Dishearten at his mistake, he shook the water from his mane as he went about to try again.

Lime green eyes widen in surprise as Sevati finall realized what Ravi was up to. He was trying to catch some fish! Her tail flicked slightly as she tried to remain as hidden as possible within the golden sand. After watching his feel attempts at catching fish fail, she couldn't help but smile at his determination. It made her quite warm and happy inside to see him actually enjoying himself and not worrying about anything!

A plan came into mind as she thought about going down there and having some fun as well! She waited still Ravi was some distance away from her before she got up and made her way to the shore. Sneaking her way to the male, she was silent before pouncing on the male. She knocked him over into the water as she pinned him to the ground. Giggles escaped from her as she smiled brightly to Ravi. "There you are!"

Just as the male was about to pounce for another fish, Ravi was attacked by something! He fell to the ground, water all around him as he struggled to get free. But, to no avail did he get his attacker off of him until he heard that sweet, melodious voice. It was Sevi!! He couldn't help but smile inwardly at her and their contact. What a nice surprise, even if he was being beaten by Sevi, though it was just this one time! His golden eyes lit up as he reached for her ear and tugged on it.

"I've got you now, Sevati!" Two could play this game!

It seems the tables had turned on her as Sevati was now the center of attention. The water was cool and refeshing, but the least of her worries as Ravi got ahold of her. The white lioness couldn't help but yelp in surprise as she tried to get away. Placing a paw against his shoulder, she pushed him away with all her might. "You can't get me that easily!"

All worries she previously had floated away from her as she kept nothing but Ravi in her attention. The Firekin male was in her sight at all times as she moved and wiggled her way away from the male, but at the same time, trying to get the male's tail in her grasp.

Golden eyes were amused, but slightly drawn to the wet, white angel in front of him. Ravi had to use all his self-control to not embarrass himself infront of Sevi, but he couldn't help it, she was just so dazzling with the sun beating off of her. Slightly dazed at that thought, he shook his head, he shouldn't be thinking those kinds of thoughts about her. Trying to get his mind off of Sevi, it was so hard with her right here and playing with him. Sooner or later, he's going to break his control and he hoped that it wouldn't end badly. But, as he was pushed away, his attention went back to Sevi as he went to pounce on her and pin her to the ground.

Lowering his head to her ears, he whispered "I've caught you, Sevi." Completely entranced by her sweet scent, he had the strongest urge to nuzzle her.

As Sevati was pinned to the moist sand, she struggled against the male but to no avail. Letting him get the best of her, her lime green eyes gazed up at his as she gave an audible gasp. His scent was strong and made her insides flutter with an unknown feeling, but a good feeling she enjoyed! As she listened to his words, a small grin spread across her features as she went up and tugged his ear. "But, that doesn't mean I still can't fight back!"

As she finally wiggled her way out of his grasp, she shook herself before looking back at him, "What were you doing all the way out here anyway? You made me worry, Ravi!"

As Sevi freed herself from his grasps, Ravi couldn't help but smile at her fiestiness. His golden eyes widen slowly before a secretive look flashed through his eyes. Turning his head slightly towards the sea, he sighed. "Well, you caught me," He paused to look back at her, "I wanted to catch us some breakfast before you woke up as a surprise."

His tail flicked slightly as he remembered trying to catch the fish but with no luck. His voice lowered slightly in embarrassment, "But, I didn't find the fish as easy to catch as I had hoped..."

Eyes widen slightly in surprise at the male's words. A warm feeling bubbled inside the lioness as her face heated. In an effort to hide her actions, Sevati turned her head slightly and let her gaze wander to the crashing waves in the hopes that Ravi didn't catch her strange actions. Why was she feeling funny around Ravi all of a sudden? It was strange and something that she did not understand.

Once her stomach stop fluttering so much, she dared to turn her gaze back towards the male with a weak smile. "It doesn't matter, Ravi. It's the thought that counts," She tilted her head to give him a wide smile, "I am grateful for that."

A gentle breeze blew the salty air around the two as Ravi's curiosity was piqued. Sevi sure wasn't acting herself today, but he was not sure if he should be too worried about this or not. When she turned back to him, he brushed away his worries, no need to work himself up afterall. Her words comforted him, if only a little. He still failed to surprise her with breakfast, which he wanted to do. He sighed inwardly at his failure, not letting Sevi know his disappointment.

A slight incline of his head to her words, "If you are fine with it, Sevati." Golden eyes turned slightly before his stomach grumbled in protest. He was hungy! A sheepish grin spread across his features as he turned to the white lioness, "Well, Sevati, I think we should find something easier to eat then, don't you think so?" Stepping out of the water, he shook himself off and headed away from the shore to find something else to eat...with Sevati by his side, he was content.
