Please pray for London! There has been bombing over in their subways.

Heres some info from MSN

LONDON - At least 33 people were killed when three explosions ripped through London subway trains Thursday and an undetermined number were killed in a fourth explosion on a bus, officials said in what Prime Minister Tony Blair described as a "barbaric" terrorist attack.
U.S. law enforcement officials earlier said the death toll from the four blasts was at least 40.

Some 45 people were in serious or critical condition, London officials told reporters Thursday afternoon in describing the worst attack on London since World War II.

The blasts went off between 8:51 and 9:47 a.m. local time. Implementing an emergency plan, authorities immediately shut down the subway and bus lines that log 8.4 million passenger trips every weekday. It brought the city?s transportation system to a standstill and left many central London streets deserted.

Please think about these people. They had an event that was similar to the US 4 years ago on September 11, 2001.

Do watch the news for more info.

mm, there were 4 bombs, at least 50 deaths, and i think the injuries went into the hundreds. I am glad my brothers coach was delayed on the way, as one bomb went off where they were going at about the time they should have arrived, thankfully they were late.

Also, there was another suspected bomb closer to home, in the next town(Swindon) there was a package thought to be a bomb found and disposed of by the authorities.

But perhaps the worst news, for me, is that just behind where I was working today, there were 2 murders, when a child(I think it was a child) killed both their parents, the reasons are not yet known, but it was so close to home, being in the same town and all, and the fact that there hasnt been a murder here in over at least 20 years, it was a shock to everyone, so please keep all involved families in mind over the following days.

Wow. I'll keep them in my prayers. That's awful... I don't know what to say. Praise God your brother was late.

info above was wrong, I have now heard from a reliable source that it was an elderly couple killed by their son who couldnt wait for them to pass away and inherit their Will, what is going wrong in the world, there is too much greed.

That's awful. It really is terrible to see how bad the world is today. Just flip through the TV channels and see. The other day I was flipping through, and I actually saw two men having sex. On cable television! Years ago there was a fundamental pastor preaching on the degradation of this world. He talked about the movie: "Gone with the Wind". In the movie, Rhett Butler says a curse word. It was the first time something like that was ever done in a movie. The pastor predicted that if things kept going the way they were going, there would be full nudity in movies in the future. His congregation laughed at him.

As well as general prayers for London which by the way I'm sure will be greatly appreciated, I would ask that you keep a friend of mine in mind as well.
Her name is Sheryl and she is 14 yrs old.
She lost her aunt instantly as a result of this bombing, and she also lost her cousin shortly after in hospital.
She was close to both of them and I ask that you pray for her strength through this hard time.
All I can add to that is praise the Lord her dad only came away with a few bumps and scratches.
Please keep her in your prayers and God bless.

final update from an official report:

'An elderly couple were beaten to death in their own home, by their Son who had been released from prison shortly before after serving a 15 year sentence for beating his Mum, there was a restraining order on him to keep him in Bristol, which he ignored, the local area was guarded by armed police for the next day to keep him under control, as he was still in the area. The reasons behind this attack are unknown, and he now awaits another trial and probably two life sentences(25 years each)'

This is horrendous, how anyone can physically beat someone to death is incomprehendable to me, let alone your own parents, keep the family/friends of this couple in mind.

I don't think it could've been put any truer than that.
