I thought it was Incubus that did the song, "Wander", for it? confused
But it's been a while since, maybe he did a song on it too.

he even did a live performance of it at "video games live"
with a orchestra. and then they showed the trailer for halo 3.
it even plays it in the one level in halo 2.

He does some music for it, but he didn't write the main theme. I forget who did... Read the manuel.
