In the manga, Kakashi's story is between the end of Naruto and the beginning of Shippuden. What about the anime? Did they just forget about it or do you think they're gonna make like a "special episode" later?

So far, it's been a no go for the Gaiden in Anime and we have yet to hear if they're even going to put it out in the Anime. No one has leaked the info. ^_^ (silently, I'm hoping they use it as a filler later on)

I haven't heard of the Gaiden being in the anime but I sure hope that it could come out as a filler^^
they will probobly put it in as a filler somewhere.....I hope.

psst.. rolleyes well what I'd heard is that they might make it into a movie or one of those special episoes like the Sports Festival or the Hero of the Waterfall episodes. So it's probably going to be an hour special with added stuff that would be AWESOME!! haha I hope that's what they do... whee
